In the same way that NYC’s best pizza title was legitimately granted to an NJ restaurant, Casserole Bistro is the best fusion food in Montclair. I honestly can’t believe that town hasn’t swamped this place yet! Plan your evening around dinner. Chef Johnny Arango nails it!

We went there on Saturday night, not sure what to expect. We had to wait a little while for our menu and the wine to be poured. We ordered the crab cake appetizer, salmon from the menu and the short ribs. We were pleasantly surprised at how fabulous the appetizer and dinners turned out. I recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.

Phenomenal food and atmosphere!! We had the restaurant to ourselves on a Friday night. A bit odd, but it is a pandemic. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. For the price, the portion sizes were also very generous. Can't wait to venture back for more!

One of the best places to eat ! this is a must try. I have order several different items from here and they all have been delicious. The chief is wonderful; he accommodated our food preferences and the food is amazing .

A very small place. Appetizer portions were small but dinner portions were perfect. I had a pork chop arabiata, it was a great pork chop, it could of been a little spicier. My husband had chicken marsala, one piece he said was tough, but 2nd piece melted in his mouth and he enjoyed the sauce. We were a table of 6. Everyone loved their dinner. The avocado with crab salad was excellent for an app. The calamari was tough. The staff was friendly and efficient. It's BYOB.

First time coming here and had a great first time experience. I came here with 2 friends and we all shared 3 appetizers and 3 desserts! For appetizers, we ordered the fried calamari, cheesesteak egg rolls and spicy batata bravas. Our entrees were chicken cacciatore, lobster ravioli, and seafood risotto. For dessert, we ordered the churro, home made butter pecan banana bread pudding and lava cake.
