First time visiting this Deli...surprisingly though since it's super close to where I work. I came in early (and a little tired). The guy who took my order realized it...and immediately said something funny to make me laugh. (Which also helped wake me up lol.) I got a Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich. It was delicious. The bread was fresh, eggs cooked perfectly...and the meat was spot on. I'll definitely return. Great service....super solid food.
Superb. Seriously. With so many deli’s around here, it’s hard to pick the right one but this is the one. Highly recommend
It's about time someone got it right !! I have been trying to find a good deli with no success. I can't believe I live in Bloomfield and missed this gem. When you walk in you are greeted and feel very welcome. The owner is in few words is "a very nice guy " . The quality of the food is outstanding. Great bread which is a must. Homemade salads which you never find amywhere. If you looking for a great deli then look no farther.
Great spot to grab a breakfast sandwich and coffee before jumping onto the Parkway. Definitely one of the better sandwiches I've had in the area. Coffee was good and they always keep a fresh pot out. They also have a full deli if you want to grab something for lunch but I haven't had the chance yet.
I have been living in Bloomfield NJ for over 10 years and The Village Deli on Broad Street is simply first class all the way! Skip makes you feel welcome when you first walk in, makes you feel like family...Great sandwiches, would highly recommend this place if you are in town or just passing through, The Village Deli is just fantastic! - John Halsell
