It really is the best ice cream in town. This is the original, walk-up only store. It is seasonal, so be sure to check their website before coming here. This visit was fast and inexpensive with friendly people and good desert.
Has some of the best ice cream I've ever had. Special mention to the cashier Quincy for exemplary customer service. Very much recommended

I've loved this ice cream shop since I was little! Yesterday made me love them even more! I left my wallet FULL of credit cards and cash, the cashier took the time to find me on Facebook to return it to me with everything still inside! Thank you soooo much! Nikki J. you dont know how you saved me!
Local iconic ice cream shop. We stopped in on their last day of the season. I had a dish of the blueberry frozen yogurt. My bf had a turtle sundae. Both were delicious! Their prices are reasonable too. I would recommend giving them a try.

6/2023 update: Carl's consistently has great service, delicious ice cream, and a location in both Normal and Bloomington.
Always a treat to go here with my grandkids, and they are able to fill their request for extra eyes on their ice cream.
