I'm not a BBQ expert but I do like food and these guys have great food. It's not fancy but fancy isn't the point. I've seen mentions that they don't make their own side dishes. I don't know, but I do know i like the sides. The meat i
This place ALWAYS has reliably good BBQ. I would recommend calling ahead if you're going to order ribs, otherwise you might get something substandard. I think I've tried every type of meat they offer on the menu. They're all great. I miss the days years ago, when they had draft beer.
Their corn bre
Very nice service.
Great taking food; baked beans, cole slaw, mac and cheese, cole slaw, and of course BRISKET sandwich.
However, restroom needs cleaning, trays were never pick-up in the one there and new paint on shudders would brighten front up, tale off crayon print on windows, and trim hedges in
We dine here often, food is delicious. We have never had a bad meal. They give back to the community too. Remember to support local during COVID, its these people who keep our community going! Lets show them support.
Best Brisket in town. As close to Texas as you will get. Great staff. Lunch special is a great deal. Family pack also if you are feeding the whole family. They even have a drive thru. Catering has always been great.
We are so glad they survived the Pandemic. The food here is always top notch. The service is great. In house dining now available.. It's always our first choice for BBQ.
Great, casual atmosphere with delicious no frills BBQ and all the dill pickles you can eat! You order cafeteria style and sit in comfortable but simple surroundings with Western art and memorabilia around you. The cornbread and Mac n cheese are clearly homemade and the chopped beef sandwich is a lun
Longhorn is always good. The turkey and sausage are my favorites. I've had some great brisket here and some that was dry for my taste. They are consistent though. Friendly place too.
My family and I had came in here under the impression it was Longhorn steakhouse that we had gift cards for. And we realized it was the wrong place, so we decided to stay anyway and it was amazing definitely worth it, everything is portion well ,green beans are super good, I had the smoked turkey an
We enjoyed our lunch at Longhorn Smokehouse. Our food was great. It was fresh and hot. We really like the French fries. We had chopped beef brisket. It was tasty and the barbeque sauce has just the right amount of zing to make you excited for the next bite. Staff were coirtious and friendly. Nice ca
The meat was tender and moist, the sauses were great as well I really like the mixed sauses the hot taste great as well just a little to hot for me. The baked beans and the green beans were awesome, I thought I was back in Georgia.
Keep up the great work!
Melt in your mouth tender brisket and fall off the bone ribs! Also had the beans and mac and cheese which were both excellent, along with the cornbread. Come hungry!
Longhorn is a long-time bbq staple on the south side of Bloomington. The lunch specials are a solid value with your choice of meat and two sides for around $7. I'd highly suggest grabbing the generous cut of juicy, well-smoked brisket! Their scalloped potatoes and baked beans are tasty as well.
I ate here on February 3, 2018 after the restaurant was suggested on my Facebook feed as "Restaurants To Try in Bloomington-Normal." I gave them a shot.
Guess what?..
The food did not disappoint!
I let the woman know it was my first time eating there and she made recommendations. She suggested I t
I eat there for lunch once in a while and the chopped beef sandwiches are always delicious and more than enough for one person. The sides and fries have always been good too.
