Hands down best meal I've had since living in Bloomington and there is no shortage of fantastic food here. The beer menu not only has all of the Big Woods brews but other fantastic beer on tap like Wootstout from Stone Brewing. The triple B burger, mixed grill, and BBQ nacho's are to die for. Great atmosphere, great service, great food!
Amazing service and the food!!! I ordered the skillet mac n cheese with pulled pork... it is now my btown favorite!!! So so good! We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Highly recommend!
I can't speak highly enough of the staff at Big Woods Bloomington. They are respectful, friendly, and have consistently gone out of their way for me. It took a few weeks for the cook staff to work out their new menu, but the food is now better than ever. It's flavorful, well-portioned and service is quick, even when the restaurant is packed. Also, the Beer Garden is a great place to kick back with a beer (and play some Jenga).
I particularly reccomend the Hoosier Tenderloin Sandwhich, and their Pumpkin Ale beer.
The Busted Knuckle Bourbon barrel beer is truly the best microbrew I've tasted! Pretzels with the beer cheese, highly recommended. Also, the hamburger with bacon and smoked pulled pork with smoked Gouda cheese was amazing!! We love this placed. We love going to Big Woods in Nashville too!
Awesome atmosphere, great food and staff. Please consider putting the risotto back on the menu, that was my favorite!

I don't live in Bloomington and it was my first visit. The flat bread pizza was amazing. Had a crafted beer that was smooth and the service was excellent, very attentive.
I definitely will be coming back.

Went and sat out in the cabin tonight, great service, great food, our bartender was just awesome.
Quaint little place for a quick bite and some brews! Staff was friendly and the food was good. We had breadsticks with nacho cheese and garlic butter…absolutely delicious! Then we both got our own 10” pizzas. Hubby got hand tossed crust with pepperoni and banana peppers, and I had the Primal pizza with a thin crust. Pretty good stuff! Give this place a try if in the area!
I stopped by here for a beer and some food while I was passing through Bloomington. It's a nice and friendly pub with outdoor seating as well as a bar inside. I ordered an IPA and the fish and chips. They were excellent. The place was pretty crowded on a weekday evening, which is a good sign that it's pretty popular with the locals. I would go here again and I probably will if I ever find myself back in Bloomington again.
We love this place and visit every time we’re in town. This is the spot that first introduced us to Hard Truth. (Locally owned distillery) we love it because it’s cozy and small and honestly the BEST burgers. They are cooked and seasoned perfectly. The brew burger is my fav. Don’t sleep on the truffle fries- they’re killer. Great drinks!
Great spot in Bloomington. Loved the maple chicken sandwich it was the bomb. Unfortunately I was driving so I did not get to sample their great selection of microbrews but I will be back to do that. Excellent and friendly service as well. Lots of outdoor dining options.
We walked in around 4:45pm on a Saturday and it was already starting to get busy. The steak salad was fantastic and everyone enjoyed their food. The service is always outstanding here.
We visited this place while they were completely slammed, and you'd never know it by the service! I never saw anyone from the wait staff stop moving. With a packed dining area and patio, our waiter still dropped off refills and gave us regular updates on our food. And once the food was out, it was amazing! Best food we had on our whole trip. I can see why locals were lined up. 10/10 would recommend.
