Bear's Place - Bloomington - Photo album

A good place right off campus for a drink and some bar food. Loaded fries and wings are tasty. The staff is friendly and attentive.
We got here a little early before the party started (9:30). They had a band playing in the back which was fun.
Oddly shaped, deceptively large restaurant/bar. Seems like a lot of history there and they host quite a variety of events. Kids welcome in the front; 21+ in the back area. Fireplace adds a very warm, comfortable feel. Great drinks, too!
This is my go-to spot. I love just about every high quality item on the menu. Food is reasonably priced! Nikki is an excellent server too.
1 mojito cost me 12 dollars. I ordered 2. Atmosphere is good. There was limited food available when was there. They also had us seated in the back and forgot about us. This is a GREAT spot in Bloomington, IN!! I've gone there off and on for several years. They have delicious food at great prices, good drink specials, and I've never gotten less that good service by the servers. PLUS they host excellent singer-songwriter events and other concerts.
Had virtually no food options available on a Saturday evening and what was available was gross. Not sure if the karaoke is still good, but if you're looking for something to eat while you watch the game or have a drink, avoid.
