They had outside seating so we were able to get a table and bring our dog with us. Excellent portions and Theresa was an excellent server. I had the tuna sandwich with fries and my wife had the jumbo quiche which she said was really good but maybe a little overcooked as the top was hard and crusty.

A bit pricey Parking is limited especially during winter. Street parking is hard to find when there is snow piled up by the street. There is parking out back but it is limited. Entered through the back, front doors were closed - not sure why. Small cafe but cozy. Decor was cute and atmosphere was nice. I ordered a Mocha Cappuccino and husband ordered a Montana. Cappuccino was delicious. I ordered the special, baked frittata with butternut squash, spinach and sage. I did not know it was $19, a bit much but it was tasty. Husband ordered scrambled eggs, meat, toast and home fries for $14.50 - he said it was good but not the donut. He said it was dry and lacked flavor. We walked out of there with a bill total of $50. It has been awhile since I paid that much for breakfast for two. I guess with the things happening in the world, I should of figured our egg breakfast would cost us an arm and a leg (egg prices). Over all experience was nice and the staff there were cheery and that is always a plus!

Great menu choices. Clean, great coffee selections, might be too many!? Like every place else, they are having difficulty hiring staff, so be patient. It's well worth the wait.

This place is Amazing!! Sandy's new chef and menu are top notch and had a wonderful time! I can't wait to come back for dinner! If you go for lunch I would try the short rib grilled cheese or if you are visiting Maine try the lobster grilled cheese or New England Clam Chowder! Service was great and friendly and if you enjoy cocktails during brunch you must try a iced blue hill mocha.

Lovely place to have dinner. The calamari a la spagos with pepperoncini, garlic and pepperoni was perfection--perfectly fried, tender, and so flavorful, unlike anything I've had before. Sandy and Bill are very kind, generous hosts, and I look forward to returning soon.

Our post-wedding gathering of 35 people just had an enchanting Sunday breakfast at Sandy’s Café and we loved every minute of it! The sunny porch, beautiful decor, piano, and very delicious buffet were all perfect. I’ll never forget the mixed berry French toast! Sandy, Bill, Amanda and Taylor were all easy and great to work with. Thank you for being willing to do private events and giving our group that special, final weekend gathering.

Sandy's Blue Hill Café was kind enough to rent us their space for a welcome dinner party before our wedding. The space was the perfect combination of cozy and roomy, and the staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful during both the setup, cleanup, and the actual party itself. Needless to say, the food was absolutely delicious. There was an excellent spread of charcuterie platters, the soup and curry main courses were outstanding, and the apple crumble was a fantastic dessert. Our thanks to Sandy and Bill for making things so easy. Do yourself a favor and drop by for breakfast sometime, their coffee and pastries are legitimately the best we've had in Maine.

This cafe is a complete joy from the owners, waiters, location, and most importantly, the food. We've gone every day since arriving in Blue Hill and have enjoyed absolutely everything. The food is very high quality and you can tell it's made with care by skilled hands. We even bought some of the frozen meals to have for dinner since restaurants close a bit early around here. Everyone here is extremely friendly and we've enjoyed their lively personalities and a good chuckle with them all. We will miss Sandy's once we leave and will look forward to our next trip to Maine to visit again!

Stopped at Sandy's for breakfast while traveling with my husband and dog last week, and now wish we could teleport there regularly. Our server was incredibly accommodating and attentive, and the food was amazing. Best blueberry pancakes I've ever had. Breakfast was so delicious that we decided to purchase a few prepared meals to cover us for dinners at our rental cabin later in the week as well. Sandy took the time to come out to our table (we were eating outside) to let us know what was available - we picked the Thai curry and shepherd's pie, and they did not disappoint. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Excellent food and service. We ate there Monday morning for breakfast and sat outside. Our young waiter was extremely attentive. As all of his tables were inside with us as the exception, he did not forget about us. Everything arrived timely and was delicious. A great experience. Was driving from Arcadia to my home in Southern Maine and stopped in Blue Hill for breakfast. What a great town. Will definitely be back

I've been to Sandy's several times in the past 4 months. My experience is that the service is always friendly and accommodating. There aren't a lot of options in Blue Hill so this place can get quite busy and, due to staffing issues everywhere, there can be waits or staff that aren't completely trained. Everything I have ordered has been tasty and served quickly. There are little niggles - missing place settings, requests for water that never gets served, and odd upcharging on the menu (?) (ie $4 for a substitute side of fruit salad) - but the ambience, the consistently good food and the friendly service make it worth returning.

Sandy’s is my favorite restaurant in Blue Hill. Quality food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. I had the special, spanakopita, and it was rich and flavorful. Our kids loved the grilled cheese. We enjoyed relaxing on the backyard patio while we ate. Highly recommended.
