Dolce Vita Restaurant has just launched their new Salumeria/Italian Deli located within the restaurant and it's exactly what this area has been lacking; a high quality Italian Delicatessen providing authentic Italian meals for take out, outstanding sandwiches, and genuine Italian deli options not found anywhere local. The food and atmosphere will make you feel like you're back on NY's Mulberry Street! Kudos to Chef Joe and Arlene for giving Bluffton an authentic Italian experience like no other!
Got a reservation for two during the week, but they were not very busy. Great selection of mid-level wines that were priced very well. I had a Pio Cesare - Dolcetto at a very good price.
Had two appetizers; the calamari was good, but not special. We also had fried -stuffed zucchini flowers which were great.
For the main entrees, we both had a pasta with seafood with dirrecent sauces. Both were excellent. Service was great and pricing was a good value. Tiramisu for dessert was excellent.
It cracks me up that pompous idiots give this place anything less than 5 stars. The food is the best Italian in the area and I've tried them all. Ombra, on HHI is excellent too, but it's different in nature, so comparison isn't quite justified. The owners are proud of their place and food because they work hard to provide a nice experience and truly authentic recipes. My favorite is simply the Veal Parm, but have tried at least half of the items on the menu. When the stuffed peppers are available they are to die for. Some people should obviously stick to Carrabbas, or Olive Garden when they have complaints about the food as you don't have an advanced palate. My two cents.
Definitely the best Italian food we have ever had in our lives. We hadn’t been here in a few years and now they added a deli. The angel hair pasta was definitely fresh made last night, and the chicken Parmesan was out of this world. We’ve been to several Italian restaurants, and this one consistently is the very best we’ve ever had.
This is my Favorite Italian Restaurant now! Family owned. So so good. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel like family! Our 1st time there and we will be back! From The wine selections to the Appetizers and Entrees to desserts and after Dinner drinks,, Wow! The Best! Oh!! and besides what is on the menu, there are SO many Special Appetizers and Eneees to choose from! You won't be disappointed, I actually want to keep it a Secret! Thank you all for everything!

Had a wonderful dinner for seven last night. As usual, the top Italian food in the county.
Chef Joe was wonderful to talk old times with and owner/hostess Arlene was the best.
Will be back next week for lunch.
If you are looking for AUTHENTIC Italian food, you have to visit Dolce Vita. We moved from NY to NC/SC almost 30 years ago and visiting Dolce is like a taste of home. We have never been disappointed. Make a reservation and check them out.
And I can't wait for the opening of their Salumeria serving lunch soon.
Wonderful family owned restaurant with amazing food!! The owner Arlene was so sweet and made sure to catch us at the door to tell us goodnight and she hoped we'd be back....we will definitely be back! There are many Italian restaurants in the area but this was real, fresh Italian food and some of the best I've had outside of Italy.
