Good place with very tasty meal. The ribs and seafood were perfect. All of my family (10 people) were surprised how well they cooked. It was our first time there and I really recommended visiting this place to eat. The waiter was nice and carefully. Thank you for your service.
Had a great evening for my husband's Birthday. The food was excellent. I had my favorite, the Crispy Duck. My husband and brother in law had fish special entrees . The prices are fair,the staff very efficient. From appetizers to dessert everything was delicious 😋
Charley and his staff truly have a great place to be proud of as I sat at the chefs table by the kitchen and it was like watching poetry in motion. It is a culinary experience.
A continuation of our quest to try all of the restaurants in our new home town has landed us at May River Grill......twice. I can't believe we went back a second time before going to the next place on our list but, we had to take our friends who are also newcomers to the area.
What you will find at May River is a great vibe, top notch service and really good food. When you can see into the kitchen you know that things are gong to be done right. I have enjoyed both the lamb and crispy duck and did not have an issue with either of them. OK, maybe the vegetables could have a bit more life to them but in all honesty, my dietary restrictions only allow me to have the vegetables. That won't keep me away.
The hostess and servers are super friendly and on both trips, proved to be attentive and welcoming. We really enjoyed both evenings here and plan to make this a regular stop.
Have always heard it was amazing, but driving by it looks a bit unassuming. Step through the door to find a beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere and food to match. You won’t regret this one. Make a reservation though!
I ordered the lamb shank and it was cooked to perfection! My friends ordered the veal chop and another ordered the pork chop and both were very happy with their order. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!!
Great food. Great service. I knew what I wanted but then I saw the specials. They had triple tail that was delicious and so good it didn't need sauce but the sauce and daufuski crab elevated it

Best meal-at least so far-that we have had while visiting (3 times now)Bluffton, SC. The local snapper(one of the specials) was cooked perfectly and was a much larger portion than expected. The baby back ribs were SUPER tender. They practically melted in our mouths and the sauce was yummy, messy and finger licking good. All vegetables were good, too. Sadly, we were too full to enjoy a dessert but will return to do so.
A great dining experience. The staff is friendly and the food fresh. They even have a good kids menu.
The food was really good and I really enjoyed it. My waitress, Emily, was so sweet and fun to interact with. She was a true queen and so was her mom. The service from everyone was good and I truly enjoyed the meal.
Let me start by saying this has amazing food, and we are very picky! On the other hand it is not kid friendly, thank God my 5 year old behaved lol, also the service was terrible there wasn't one waitress that didn't forget something and we encountered 4 different people. Food beyond five stars service below one but the food was too good to give anything less than 4 stars.
The owner is an amazing person , the food was out standing . I can’t explain how amazing the food and service were, we had appetizers, soups, main course , and dessert all made in house by the owner. I will definitely be back and bring my family with me. Amazing amazing amazing!!

Food is top notch. Service was decent, but gives you a feeling of being rushed since they are trying to turn tables (small restaurant, intimate atmosphere). Mostly a 50+ crowd, not many young people
