Above average pub grub.... Well prepared pub favorites, plus some more upscale items, all served in generous portions. Make sure you try the Pub Wellingtons (mini Beef Wellington appetizers). If I lived in the area, I'd be a regular.

Great fish and chips. Had it with a nice Black and Tan which thankfully they knew how to pour and wasn't mixed all up before I got it. Would go again.

The British Open Pub makes the best Onion Rings I have ever had! They also have a superb club sandwich!

Really nice ambiance. Golf themed British pub. Large selection of traditional British fare as well as a Wednesday Prime Rib night. Food was delicious and in comfortable size portions. I had the steak and mushroom "pie" which was delicious. The "pie" was served in an open face style, the ingredients and flavor were spit on!

Another year, another great Fish & Chips from BO. Two nice big, white, flaky fish in a wonderful batter. Shrimp were tasty. Everything perfectly cooked. French Onion soup is exceptionally good (almost all their soups are good!). And the cole slaw was back to the old recipe, YAY!! Morgan and her trainee Crystal were excellent, very friendly and provided great service. Atmosphere was nice as it was busy, with a happy, jovial crowd. We always love coming here and it’s always among the first places we come when we’re in town.

This is our favorite reataurant on the island. We go several times each trip. Both locations are owned by the same owner and he takes great pride in his food and service. My favorite is the Royal Birkshire and Mushroom Pie. They bring it to your table and pour it hot over your plate in front of you. So delightful! Everything we've always ordered has been splendid.

This is in the best fish'n'chip place in the area. They use big cod pieces (suspect loins) and have a very light batter. Excellent tasting. Good atmosphere and service. Only small complaint was either the size of the bread pudding or the price of it. I will be back.

Been several times and it’s always solid. The staff is very friendly and accommodating even when they are slammed (which they often are). Food quality varies depending on the order. The French onion soup isn’t great but the sarazen veggies are amazing. The burger has good flavor but was dry and overcooked. The fish and chip: fish is great, fries are soso. Coleslaw is very bland. I haven’t tried the brunch yet but plan to. All in all a good choice if you are in the area

Great food, great atmosphere, awesome staff, and really welcoming owners. If you enjoy traditional British/Scottish food, this is the place. Additionally, they carry traditional British/Scottish/Irish beers on tap. Great place post golf or to enjoy with the family. I highly recommend this establishment!

In a very difficult time for our family we had to find a place to feed 16 members of our extended family…at 7pm…on a Friday night! The crew at British Open Pub saved the day. Food was great, service was fast and spot on. Everyone was great and super nice. Treated us like family. Thanks!!

Great food! Be sure to get steak as soon as you get it. Husband ordered medium well and he got medium rare. We just took it home to cook it some more ourselves.

I really like this place overall. It has a legitimate Pub feel complete with the dark wood bar. They have friendly bartenders and staff. I sat at the bar for both of my visits but wandered around the entire place to get the entire feel of the place. The beer selection is good but not great. They stick to traditional Pub beers like Guinness etc. They have a full bar and pour some good drinks! Sitting at the bar, it was quite easy to strike up conversations with the people sitting next to me and the bartender (which happened to be the owner too). As far as food, I can’t speak on everything but, in general, it was good. The guy sitting next to me (a regular) insisted that I should get the English Dip. Sure enough, it was quite good and was definitely a large portion! I was, however, disappointed with the Scotch Eggs. They were Luke warm and had been microwaved to reheat them as the eggs had a rubbery texture. I would definitely not get them again unless they improve how they are prepared. Cheers!

Dined here last night. Service was spot on. My first drink seemed watered down but next 2 were great. Overall a fun time. Food was good only issue 2 out the 4 of us got their ribeye. Both were tough and chewy though ordered medium rare and cooked properly. My educated guess would be quality of the product itself. Just a buyer beware review when ordering steaks from here. Everything else was great.

We had a party of 11. The waitress was awesome and our food was brought out in a very timely manner!
