In a place surrounded by chain food stores it’s a breath of fresh air to have food prepared by the locals with authenticity and love! This family owned and operated restaurant has become a staple in the community! Great local spot!

Super meal with great flavors and fresh food. We had Jerk pork, collars and plantains, Caesar salad with Jerk Chicken, jerk pot stickers and a Daufuskie crab cake. Washed down with Red Stripe beer. Service was attentive and Bluffton friendly. Great spot for a change of pace.
Amazing taste! Solid atmosphere! Genuine conversation with authentic Jamaicans. Loved the food for vegans and will be back after the fast for normal carnivorous food
This place is a gem in Hilton Head! Clean, welcoming atmosphere with a well stocked bar and tastee meal options. This is as authentic as it gets where Jamaican food in America is concerned. The music is good and the service is warm and friendly.
Love that they have vegan and vegetarian entrees and items. Coco bread was warm and fresh. The vegan curry was wonderful and all of the side dishes were fantastic. Ate outside under the trees and we had a very attentive waitress. Everything went down good with the red stripe beer.
This is a laid back friendly place. It feels like going to a friends house for dinner. The food is consistently delicious and the people are lovely. This is a fantastic place to go with friends you want to have long talks, amazing food and outstanding cocktails with. They also have vegan plates. The Curry chickpeas are my favorite, and also the greens, and the roti, and the... everything. ;)
Hidden gem in Hilton Head! A friend of mine found this place and recommended it and I was pleasantly surprised to find an authentic Jamaican restaurant in that part of town! The food and the service was excellent! I got the jerk chicken dinner... And it's off the grill jerk, not oven baked jerk chicken. The rice and peas were made to perfection too. Definitely going back there if I'm ever in HH area again! Do yourself a favor and stop by there if this came up on your search list.
Sending so much love to Red Stripes! I saw a plant based vlog about the place and had to go when in the area. Totally lived up to my expectations. Both my omnivore partner and I enjoyed our meals and cocktails. Fresh and authentic with a dynamite staff that was personable and attentive.
Had to do an overnight trip to Hilton Head, and hit up my Happy Cow looking for vegan places. This place popped up, and I'm really glad it did. Very cool folks working here, and this Curry Chickpea with Plantains and Rice (with, of course, a Red Stripe beer) was exactly what I was looking for. These folks are legit, check them out.
This is one of our favorite places to eat. The food is consistantly delicious everytime we go. It has a homey laid back atmosphere and the owners are fantastic people. I always know we are going to have wonderful time and leave full and happy. I feel like happiness is infused into each dish.
Best Caribbean food we’ve ever had. Everything was was cooked to perfection, the plantains, collard greens, shrimp curry, chicken patty….flavors were perfect. What a wonderful surprise on our trip. Very affordable, and the chef/owner even came to ask how we liked it, and was super personable. Everyone was very friendly and we had a wonderful experience there. This is a must try if you’re coming through here, we’ve been on a month long road trip through FL/GA/SC and this was the best meal we’ve had so far and best price. I can’t say enough good things about this place.
Had to try the jerk chicken. Did not disappoint. Really tender and flavorful scotch bonnet tasting chicken so good. With the creamy cheesy Mac so good. Highly recommend
Ordered online. When I arrived was told only had dark meat for both meals which I had ordered white. Took the jerk chicken order anyway and glad I did. Some of the best I’ve had. Will be going back.
First time eating here , customer service is excellent. Food is awesome . If you haven’t tried here yet definitely do. Will be returning .
This place is kind of hard to find and almost always looks closed, but dont let either of those keep you from stopping in and trying this amazing Carribean cuizine. The OX tails are absolutely amazing and everything was cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend giving this hidden gem a try.
