Had a great short rib dinner special here last night. Met the owner and several customers. Its a very friendly place in a charming, traditional Italian atmosphere. Surprisingly lengthy italian wine list, by the glass or bottle. They just opened in June 2018 and I would definitely recommend Nonna Lucia to locals who have not experienced it yet.

We've been to this restaurant twice in 3 weeks & have enjoyed it thoroughly. Service, quality and a comfortable atmosphere definitely deserves to be tried. Newly reopened and a BYOB until they gain their liquor license.

We had a delicious dinner and wonderful evening at Nonna Lucia's. The food is awesome, service terrific and we could bring our own wine. What could be better? Music! And we had that on a Saturday night! We will come back when we are visiting Hilton Head.

This is hands down the best Italian Restaurant in town... Obvious from the fact that you almost can't get in the place. Like alot of restaurants they have minimal staff but the staff they do have is amazing. They all seem to work together. We never waited an unreasonable amount of time for anything. The owner was running between helping in the kitchen and helping the servers. She stopped by for a table visit and we learned her husband is the chef. He was amazing. It was a very busy Saturday with no seats open. He put out plate after plate after plate and it was super hot and delicious. I had the scallops and my wife had the Bolognese . I don't usually like meat sauce but it was awesome and I ended up eating her leftovers. The portions are huge. Friendly service and grace under pressure. Everything about our evening was wonderful. The entertainment fee was well worth it at onky $3. The jazz musicians were fantastic. Good job Nonna Lucia. We will be regulars here for sure.

I had a wonderful dinner with wine pairings last night. The food was excellent and much more than I could eat. There was entertainment by the fabulous Bobby Ryder and the staff was super attentive. They explained why they picked each wine and where it was from. It was one of the most enjoyable evenings I have had in a long time. I will definitely be back.

Wow, where to start...great food, amazing live music and wonderful waiter Chris! The atmosphere was warm and cozy and the icing on the cake was getting to visit with the owner Michelle. She was just delightful and fun!! We will gladly drive 2 hours to eat at Nonna Lucia's again!

Food was really good and staff very friendly. Took at least a half hour for appetizer to be served, so thinking if your in a hurry may pass on this restaurant. Bring your own liquor. We sat in a booth which needed dire replacing. Back was loose and cushions all cracked, pieces of seat getting all over my pants, bag and napkin.

Nice atmosphere...very competent Italian chef, and the portions are generous and fresh off the kitchen which has a view of the dining room. f you ask for something not on the menu, they will try and accommodate you. At the very nice bar, you can sit and eat and watch the Pizza chef make small pies in their wood fired pizza oven that are extraordinary! It is going to be a regular stop for me and my friends.

Food was good with a lot of choices on the menu. We got there early but the wait service was pretty slow. They need more servers. Live music was really good. Will definitely go back and try something new.

Excellent! Authentic italian. Made from scratch and you can taste it. Fresh warm crusty bread with smooth oil dipping sauce. Pasta cooked to perfection. Sauce...you can tell authentic. Delicious all the way around. This is a local hidden gem...definitely recommend this restaurant.

We took our guest from out of town to Nonna Lucia for dinner on New Years Eve. The place was hopping! The food was "Great"! The services "Awesome". This it's a BYOB, the food is cook to order, and if you like low music playing in the background, so you can hear the people your sitting with, then you will enjoy this restaurant!

I had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and decided to check out their Happy Hour. What an authentic Italian experience! They have a great selection of wine and the food is delicious! You won't get an American version of an Italian restaurant, but instead are treated to a true Taste of Italy. Go there with an open mind and you will not be disappointed! For dessert, the tiramisu is amazing!

Wonderful lttle Italian restaurant- great warm, friendly service! The food is so fresh and good! It is BYOB, which we really enjoyed as we brought a favorite wine from home to enjoy. It was a perfect evening - we will be back!
