Checked this place out after watching a movie at the theater nearby, and this place was a great choice. Our server was really great. She constantly checked on us, and provided great suggestions on what was good there that matched exactly what we were looking for. The place was pretty large, even bigger than what it appeared from the outside. So there was plenty of space for me and my family. They even had a gift section in the front in addition to a bar area that took up one half of the restaurant. So definitely a great place to hang. Overall, the food was almost perfect, but I've had some better brisket elsewhere, and it wasn't perfect without sauce, so I can't award it a 5 star. But... the burnt end chili nearly brings it up to 5 cuz that was amazing and one of the best sides I've had in a while. My family enjoyed the rest of their food, especially the stroganoff as it was highly recommended by our server and my mother agreed. This place is definitely a great spot to try. Check them out if you're in the Hilton Head area and feeling the taste for good bbq

This is the hidden gem 💎 you've been waiting for. Let's get straight to it! Lunch Special - $14.99, pick your meat and pick your 3 sides. Great value and I highly recommend you start here of your never been here before. 💎 I chose brisket which was seasoned to perfection! It was tender yet moist with just enough fat running through. Nice size serving as well. 💎 Now onto my sides: Cornbread Sausage Stuffing was delectable. It had the right amount of firmness in my opinion. I hate a soggy dressing/stuffing. 💎 Mac n Cheese wasn't too bad. Not the typical elbow pasta which I'm okay with. Slight breadcrumb topping for crunch. If they added a layer of melted shredded cheese is say this would be perfect. Would I get it again though, absolutely! 💎 Fried Okra was served golden brown and not too salty. Just the way I like it. The finishing touch was the cornbread enhanced with jalapeño. Now we all know some cornbread can leave you quickly searching for water after taking a bite. I was pleasantly surprised this one did not. It was full of moist, sweet texture with just a twist of spice. I'm talking a smidgen of flavor not necessarily heat. So even if you aren't a fan of spicy, give it a try. I also highly recommend the chili it's an award winner for a reason! My friend and I went for dinner around 7pm. Got seated immediately. Food was delicious! Service was great, everyone wore a smile! Stayed for drinks at the bar afterwards. Would highly recommend. We shared the chocolate ribs appetizer, citrus pecan salad, and Jack Daniels/Hawaii 5-0 wings. Had several drinks as well.

Loved the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. Service was top notch and the food was really good. Prices are consistent with the economy/inflation we're living in. Food to value was fine, we will definitely eat here again. Was sat, ordered and finished eating within 40 minutes.

The food here was very good. This was our first time going and I'm sure we will be coming back again. This spot specializes in BBQ food. The food came out pretty fast so that gave us plenty of time to catch our movie which right next to the restaurant. If I had a complaint it would be that when we first came in we past a lot of empty booths that we could have sat at but the took us to table that was right next to the kitchen where the door swung open right next to the table and the bathroom was right there too. What customer wants to sit at that table? It should be moved to another spot. We asked to go to another table and they did accommodate us.

Delicious food! We ordered take out. It was ready for pick up in about 25 minutes and was ready when we arrived. Everything was packed/sealed in to go boxes and put in easy to carry take out bags. We ordered the Mama's Family Style Platter and it was great! It came with 2 big pieces of BBQ chicken, 2 big pieces of Fried chicken, about 1 lb of pulled pork and 1 lb of brisket. It also came with 4 sides (we choose mac'n'cheese, collard greens, baked beans, and Cole slaw) and then a backet size of honey corn bread. The meat portion fed our family of 4 (two adults and two kids) for about 3 full meals (it is a lot of meat, they give you a big 9x13 size aluminum foil pan full of meat). The sides were enough for about 2 meals. It would easily feed 6 adults for one full meal and you'd probably have some meat left over. If you wanted to feed more adults just buy an extra side or two. Everything was well cooked/prepared and delicious! We plan to order this again in the future! Great meal!

Everything was delicious!! Mid prices, large sizes!!! Really nice atmosphere, one of the best bbq I have had. I am difficult with the bbq because sometimes it is too sweet, sometimes too bitter, but here it was JUST PERFECT. Outside sitting, inside sitting, live music, fountain on the exterior in a pavement road, so you have a nice scenery and peace. Beautiful.
