This place was easy to find. It was clean and spacious. We ordered cheese dip and it was different from what we are used to at other Mexican-style restaurants. It was not spicy at all and was very thick. It was good, but not great. My chimichangas were amazing. The presentation of the food was impressive and looked really nice.The service was pretty good as well. It was good experience and we would probably go back!
Delicious and fresh. A place to go that never disappoints and where everyone in the group finds something they really like. Best queso fundito and fajita quesadilla. You won't regret this choice!
This restaurant "Los Jalapeños" is a new restaurant, with new owners, new menu, a totally new staff and atmosphere, they've been open for business since January 2012, I loveee the new look of these restaurant, so warm that it makes you feel so welcome and home, the food is delicious and prepare to order, you can really taste the freshness of the ingredients in the food, the margaritas are the best and with totally new ingredients, fresh lime juice and honey?? Wow you really have to give it a try!! Believe me, you won't regret it!! : D

Yummy. Better than the Mexican restaurants back home. Chips light like Qdoba, good seafood chimi. Picky family eater gives a 10 for nachos. I would return... good service. Well decorated and clean matching HHI expectations.
We found this place by accident and let me say it was a pleasant surprise.
The waitress was friendly and gave good service. She actually refilled glasses and pre bussed! The food came out quick and was worth every penny. Salsa has just a little bite but was really good.
We will definitely eat there again. I recommend the Polo Ranchero!
I had three tacos "Mexican style",they we're good.It came with a very small portion of rice/beans,fresh cut onions and lime.i left a $4 tip so in total it was $19.A little on the high side but I was super thirst and drank 4 glasses of tea. So it was worth it I guess.

Wife and I had a excellent time. I especially enjoyed the atmosphere. She loved the large authentic portions and everything. They have a huge menu. We had some weak mixed drinks but it was 1pm so I'm not gonna make an issue. I relaxed and our waiter was smooth with his service.
This place is a little bit hidden but it's decorated nicely and the service was friendly. My food came out quickly and it was really good. Lunch specials have good deals. My favourite thing about this place was the salsa. Best I've had in a long time!
We decided to stop in this place for a quick bite, and we had a really good experience. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by Mayra, a nice smiley lady, who was also our server and bartender for the night. She made us one of the best Margaritas we had tried (Don Julio Anejo). She recommended us the Texas Rice and the food was unbelievable. Their chef knows how to cook! The Shrimp was grilled perfectly, the steak was seasoned amazingly and the whole dish itself was a 10. We had a beautiful time in this place.
Food was great, soup just like my mother's. The one thing that they did that was odd. We started with 1 server then magically ended up with another. I had to go get the server so we could order more drinks. But again the food was delicious.
Giving Jalapenos 5 stars, only because their cooks are awesome. We love their food.
Service staff however, has gone massively down hill. We went last night, and our waitress was non existent. She disappeared every chance she got. She also took our drink and food orders wrong. Right now it's a toss up as to when we will go back.
We stopped in for lunch today for the first time. We were a little concerned because there were so few people there, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The chips and salsa were excellent and definitely house made. My mother and husband requested guacamole and it looked really good (I don’t eat guacamole). They both said it was the best they had ever eaten. Our server was excellent - friendly, welcoming and prompt. My husband ordered the Los Jalapeños bowl, I had the chicken taco lunch special and my mother ordered a fajita wrap I think. All of our meals were outstanding with obviously freshly prepared ingredients. We were thrilled with our experience and will definitely be back. We used to eat at another Mexican restaurant regularly but they moved to a new location and the food has been subpar since then. It’s so nice to find a New Mexican restaurant that we like!
Never empty of customers, but never a wait. Food is always as delicious as the menu makes it look and the wait staff is usually a well balance of attentive and respectful. Frequent visitor and rarely disappointed. Fajitas are fantastic, all the burritos are filling, and you might as well get the queso dip because you know you want to.
I have being going to Los Jalapenos since 2010. The food is consistently great. Great customer service and a very clean restaurant. It should be noted I have being gone to do many Mexican Restaurants all over the United States. Los Jalapenos rates five stars and more. So what are you waiting for? Be sure to check out this great restaurant located on the right side of 278 just before the main bridge to Hilton Head Island. Enjoy and you won't be disappointed.
Good for lunch! Delicious lunch size taco salads, great homemade salsa and the largest medium-sized margaritas I've ever had! Liked the special lunch menu items, smaller portions and tasty. Enjoyed!
