Went here with some friends in the early afternoon on a Saturday and it was pretty much empty. Great drinks! I had the Texas Tea and loved it. Played darts and they also have two pool tables. I will definitely go here again!

Not impressed, but not giving up. Dusty/dirty drink rests at the end of the bar by the darts, unpleasant odor, uncomfortable seating, and freezing cold inside. Barebones interior design layout that lacks coziness. The saving grace was the attentive service, although my shot had ice chips in it. A couple 'regulars' were friendly....carried on conversation and thanked us for coming by when we were leaving. Drink prices seemed reasonable in comparison to other Boerne venues. We will probably try again in the future for karaoke, which we had hoped to find on a Friday or Saturday night instead of a DJ.

Decent bar for what it is. Simple, plain, and pleasant. Unfortunately the young lady bar tending was rude, and her overall demeanor detracted from the experience. Possibly the worst service industry associate I've ever encountered. She even hurled insults under her breath....in an empty bar, of course patrons heard.

I've never been here before and Google insists that I have, even after informing them multiple times I haven't. Hopefully, if I leave a review they'll stop pestering me. I CANNOT vouch for this place in any capacity and I surely hope someone doesn't see this review and get turned away by it. I'm sure there's something worth doing, consuming, or drinking here, but Big Google insists I leave a review, so here they go. Cheers!

What a great little bar! I had a drink called a starf*cker and it was great. Ice cold and refreshing on a hot day. Everyone working in the bar is friendly, and said hello to me the minute I entered the place. They have nice indoor and outdoor seating. I'll be back!

Took my girlfriend there for a beer or 2 friday night, it was pretty slow that night, but we were 1st up to the bar, 3rd to be served, got $12.75 change from a $20 for 2 beers, so they charged $3.62@1/2per 12oz domestic?? Wth??, and then both kinds of beer were "skunky" as hell. We set our 2 nearly full, skunky beers on the bar, and left after telling them why, they clearly didn't care. I guess the Shortstick will be getting MY beer money from now on, zero stars for D.T., but have to give um one to post this warning.

I used to love this place, but I'm Here right now on a Saturday night , and the dj sucks .....no wonder why the bar is empty ...What's really going on here.?It's a damn shame ..... I wish I knew the DJ's name , so I would NOT recommend him .....

It was my first time at drink texas and Kaitie was my bartender and she welcomed me with a smiling face as soon as i entered the bar and was very attentive and made my experience well worth it! 10/10 recommend �

We attended Tuesday for karaoke this week and not only was the music great! But so was the bartender she had our drinks ready to go for us every time we went up. So attentive definitely will go again!

Stopped by after having thanksgiving lunch for a couple drinks and to watch the cowboys game. Bartender was awesome and sweet. I'm glad she opened early for the game.
Their happy hour is great 2-9 everyday. I will be coming back.

It took a while to be acknowleged when we walked in, and they were NOT BUSY. There was someone who had a large dog inside the bar, not well-behaved. It felt way out of place for us but the regulars were quickly acknowledged. Drink prices were high, probably the only way they are staying in business.

Horrible service. One of the guys at the bar had to tell not one, not two, but three of the bartenders we were standing at the bar waiting for a drink. Mind you there was only a handful of people in the place. Very disappointed, was looking forward to coming here.
