We love Gangnam! We always grill the pork belly at table - so tasty! They have the best kimchi and Korean veggie pancake in town. Such a cute place to grab a meal with your family or friends.

It's so nice to have this Korean restaurant in Boise. I was missing Korean food cause it's Korean thanksgiving week, and I was so happy when everything tasted so good! We ordered spicy pork, grilled mackerel and soft tofu soup. It comes with white rice. I wish rice was a bit less dry, but it's my personal preference. Oh the little pancake that comes out with mini side dishes, banchan, is really tasty! Thank you for an awesome meal again! đź‘Ť

After watching a series of Korean dramas, it is hard not to be curious of the cuisine that they are all happily eating in the shows. So, as a way to further immerse myself into the shows that I watch, I wrangled up my husband to join me on this epic Korean cuisine adventure. First we had the pork belly cooked in nothing other than the pig shaped table stove top, then came the seafood crepe, then the Korean Army stew (the Bude Jigae, aka my obsession), the Bibimbap, and the Ramen. Did we eat all of this at once? Maybe...? Maybe not..? Nevertheless, my favorite is the Bude Jigae with ramen and the cheese. Weirdest combination of ingredients but makes the best leftovers with its spiciness of the kimchee and its random mixture of meats. If food could teleport me to their origin countries by how wonderful they taste, this place would be my port.

First time visiting Gangnam and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The service was excellent—very generous and amiable. One of my favorite things about Korean restaurants is the banchan side dishes and we had three types of kimchi, a Korean “pancake,” and—because they also serve Japanese food—a delicious miso soup. We chose bulgogi, galbi, and bibimbap for our entrees and definitely were not disappointed. We enjoyed everything. Thank you!

Hands down the best authentic South Korean and Japanese food I have ever tasted! Food: My friends and I shared the galbi (beef short rib) and it was so juicy and flavorful, it came on a hot plate and was sizzling - legit music to my ears. I got the tofu soup - amazing. The flavors danced on my taste buds, the spice level was on point (I love spicy) i started sweating and loved every moment of it. The tofu was soft and there were bits of tender pork belly and shrimp which just complimented the soup so well. It really hit the spot since today was cold and rainy. We also got the soy bean paste soup and the udon soup - phenomenal flavors. The soy bean soup tasted like home, it was very nostalgic and we loved every bit of it. The udon was just as good, noodles were thick and the chew was absolute (if you’ve had udon then you know what i mean, if you haven’t then it’s worth the try), it was just a sensation of flavor! Kind of like that ratatouille scene lol. Service: Our server was the sweetest lady we could ever meet. She was kind and soft spoken and extremely polite. She took care of us period. It seemed like she was the only server in the restaurant so of course please extend some grace to this hard working young woman, she is trying her best. We’re visiting from Los Angeles and i KNOW if they moved to KTOWN they would totally thrive! A true hidden gem if you are looking for authentic South Korean or Japanese dishes. If you’re ever in Boise Idaho, this place is definitely worth your while.

Japanese & Korean comfort food done equally well. Ramen & tofu stew (jigae) are fantastic, with deeply flavorful broth. Banchan side dishes come with your meal, as is traditional. They -- broccoli, zucchini, pancake -- are also perfectly seasoned. Jigae is flavored with mushrooms, bulgogi meat & shrimp. Exceptional.

DELICIOUS. Get the Hot Stone Bibimbap if you like fried rice, once you mix it all up it's very similar and the rice gets deliciously crunchy on the bottom. I really wanted soup, and the Kimchi Jjigae was really satisfying, lots to discover in the bowl and the glass noodles are fun to slurp up. The Banchan (complimentary little side dishes of food) are a nice touch, and a good way to try new things without buying an entire order of them. That's how I found out I adore scallion pancakes! I'm looking forward to trying something new every time I come in.
