Very clean, staff is attentive but stretched. Just be patient! Food is awesome very traditional and tasty. Drunks offer generous pours, and they keep them coming. Happy hour offers top shelf!
Use the parking garage, busy area down town menu has variety of food for different tastes, lunch menu in back page . Food was good they offer dim sum...some of what we ordered was a little bland...but it was a great experience , we will go again...
My hubby and I went for lunch today. We were excited to have Chinese food,
We ordered five dishes. First, Sizzling Rice Soup. There wasn't any Sizzlle at all. The rice should be cooked and really hot so when it hits the soup, it sizzles. Secondly, shrimp fried rice, it was very good. Third, beef chowfun just okay. We were thinking it cooked alot. The noodles were really shredded. The noodles should be 1/2 wide. Next, cashew chicken. Also, over cooked and bland. The shrimp chow mein was excellent. Over all we learned what to order for next time. Out waitress was excellent and really sweet. We will come back again.
Very pleased to find dim sum! Although the restaurant is more Mandarin-themed, the dim sum selection is very appropriate to authentic Hong Kong dining experiences. The Pork Siu Mai and the Shrimp Har Gow were instant hits for me. The taro cake was wonderful – soft and moist on the inside with a very subtle crunchy thin outside. Marvelously done. Eager to come back and try other menu items!
A good friend of mine took me to this spot, and I'm truly glad he did, because it's hands down my favorite Asian spot.
Since I've made 3 visits I feel I can make a worthwhile review.
Every dish I've tried, from Egg Foo Yong, to Beef and Scallops, to Mongolian Beef, has been stellar. The menu is very vast, but this place puts out quality food. Hot and fast. If you order it spicy, it is spicy.
Very clean and updated interior also. The owner usually seats us immediately. We usually go for late lunch, so no huge crowds at that time.
The only reason for the 30-50$ price tag, is we usually have 2 large beers to wash down all that food.
This place checks all the boxes and is worthy of a try. You won't be disappointed.
The food was most excellent! Everyone enjoyed every item ordered. The service was also expectional. We will definitely return to try more dishes and have some dim sum.
Hands down best Chinese food in Boise it is consistently fresh, delicious and hit-the-spot comfort food. This place always has great service and I've never tried a menu item that wasn't cooked to perfection. If you want high-quality Chinese food at a reasonable price this is definitely the spot.
My daughter told me she had this great Chinese restaurant that she knew and went out to lunch there this past weekend. The food is very tasty and good sized portions! I can recommend the Orange Chicken and the Sweet and Sour Chicken, both were excellent!! Coming back hopefully soon for more!! Love this place!! We had an experience in another Chinese restaurant that should have advertised "dog food " because that's what it looked like! This was the Chinese food I was expecting and then some!!
