This is by far the best Street Vendor in Boise! The Tater Dog is really good! When you are in Boise don't miss a chance to try Dave's Tater Grill.
I just moved to Boise from Arizona and I tried Gator Grill while I was down town, the food is absolutely amazing! The staff is so friendly and the prices are great! I will definitely be back whenever I'm downtown.
Bacon cheddar wrap !!!. Next time your down town 6th and main area do your self a favor and go check out gator grill 2. you will not be disappointed. my go to is the bacon cheddar wrap, the perfect mixture of salty and sweet. I'm warning you now this wrap should be considered a schedule 2 narcotic because its habit forming!!! have a beer, hang with friends and let Dave at the gator grill 2 hook you up.

Whenever I am downtown I make sure I go see Dave at the Gator Grill 2. The service is friendly and fast, the cart is clean, and the food is great!
I love the Gator Grill 2! As a vegetarian it is hard to find good food at carts — Dave makes a mean vegan dog with or without papas :)

Whenever I'm in the downtown area I make time to eat something from gator grill 2. The food is AMAZING and prices are great! My favorite is the Basque sausage with cream cheese YUM
Gator Grill 2. I love this place! Dave is amazing and the food is delicious! The Tator Dog is awesome and so is the rest of the food! Wouldn't go to any other cart!
It was a little salty and greasy to be sure, but it was also starchy, sweet, smoky, spicy, tangy...even the little blackened bits from the grill added a pleasant flavor. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was perfectly balanced. No one thing overwhelmed anything else, even the ranch dressing that so many people seem to go a little heavy on. The texture issues I'd worried about with everything being shredded so finely and then steamed (my concern was ending up with a big pile of mush) weren't a problem, either. The potatoes actually came across a little like rice in texture, the chicken held up, the cheese was nice and gooey, and shredded bacon meant getting a little in every bite, rather than pulling half of the filling out by dragging a strip of bacon out with your teeth.
Not only is Dave awesome, his food is delicious! I love the polish sausage dog with hashbrowns. The secret is to add cream cheese. Sounds gross but soooo good.
Dave’s my go to guy for any late night food on the weekends. Incredible food and service. Love this hidden gem!
