Beautiful neighborhood spot. Poppy Seed is a really nice place to visit for coffee, pastries, or a sandwich. I haven't found any information on what the "bakery" part in the name means, but I'll ask next time. The danish I tried was ok but didn't seem to be fresh from the same day. Good coffee. What I enjoyed most was the amazing ambience. Laid back, super nice staff, relaxed vibe under the trees right next to the foothills. Come sit on the patio and enjoy the breeze.

Such an incredible breakfast spot. Deep dish quiches are out of this world delicious! Having both sweet and savory options is such a smart idea and the prices cannot be beat. Also don't forget about the service with a smile! Job well done ladies!

The foothills of Boise have a reputation for being our greatest example of how this city shines. Poppyseed has become a local favorite site due to a caring owner and consistent thoughtful food. You're treated to a high level of service that helps you feel like family. Kim's savory pastries always hit the spot. Her coffee is magic. Her burritos and wraps are monstrosities. The lift is relaxing, the patio is quaint with its little fireplace tables. I hope you try this place out. Take some time, slow down, enjoy, or grab a Foothills Fog & Blackberry Danish to-go.

It's always fun to find hidden treasures in my city. My son and I stopped in for breakfast while waiting for an oil change nearby, when we left my son asked " How have we not known about this place before ?" It's one of Boise's best little secrets, I suppose. Basically, when it comes to the menu, the choice is yours . You can be healthy, semi naughty or real naughty, and it's all delicious (we might have tried a few things 🤣) . Service was delivered with a smile, and attitude of gratitude. The staff was happy to have us visit and show us around the menu items. I love having a latte with my breakfast. Life is good when you're at Poppy Seed Cafe.

Filled with good smells! The quiche was about the best I've ever had, looking forward to trying more of the menu. Not much seating but that isn't really a bad thing, perfect size for cozy meeting with friends or a day off. Plus they serve Ironside coffee which can only mean good things!

It was my first time here and I wasn’t expecting much going in, I thought it was a café with a few pastries however I was very surprised to see a full breakfast menu. I got the avocado toast and coffee and a pastry and everything was top notch and very delicious. The place is very cute to go and study they have free Wi-Fi. I highly recommend this place and I will be back to try more stuff from their menu.

Been driving past this spot several Times a week for a year and finally stopped today and was so glad I did. Very comfy and cozy spot with a nice selection of sweet and savory options. Had the Baja burrito (eggs, pico, avocado and cheese) and a side summer salad which was so crisp and refreshing. The burrito was a great portion size and well seasoned. Also got a lemon coconut muffin that was so good I got a second to take home. There were several quiches and savory pastries I can’t wait to try on future visits. Definitely check this spot out. Great coffee drinks as well! Also a great spot to get some work done too!
