With prices going up I was concerned at first but the portions were impressive and our waitress, Alana, was great! Her quick service & kindness, even when she was super busy, is hard to come by. We have never had a bad experience at Springfield Avenue Cafe.

My wife and I finally had a chance to check this place out. Very nice inside. Very clean and well-maintained. We started with a beef, white bean, and barley soup which was absolutely delicious. I had the eggs Benedict. One of the best I’ve ever had. Eggs were perfectly cooked, the hollandaise was savory, and the ham was juicy and sweet. At the recommendation of the server, my wife had the fried walleye. Which was also perfectly cooked, and the beer batter was great. I highly recommend eating the walleye with some malt vinegar, as it really helps to bring out the natural sweetness of the fish. Portions are generous and we got leftovers to take home. Naturally, as a married couple, we tried each other’s meals and both enjoyed everything very much. Lauren was our server. She was super helpful being that we had lots of questions and it was our first time there. She was available and attentive, but not invasive. We needed more time to keep checking out the large selection the menu offers, and she was patient and gracious We needed more time to keep checking out the large selection the menu offers, and she was patient. Some of the best service I have had in a long time, considering our industry is really struggling with finding quality help. I can say that as somebody who works in the industry myself. Lauren is definitely a keeper. I have an entrepreneurial eye, and I can tell you the owners really know The business. There were a few details I noticed, even down to the TVs advertising their food and desserts. Definitely some business intelligence here. Cannot wait to come back and try the liver and onions and the rest of the menu.

I absolutely love this place! The food is so good and the prices are very reasonable. The fruit was fresh, the food came out hot and the server was on point. I would recommend going here. I'm gonna go back very soon! They have a variety so never the same twice in a row. Go and try it!

Favorite as always ... Had never been to the one in Bolivar but I found it no problems. My waitress was Beverly extremely friendly helpful had suggestions that I am so glad I took. It's worth the drive no wait was seated they have so many incredible desserts to choose from so I can see that you can buy full pies or cheesecakes and their homestyle cinnamon swirl bread loaf is to die for. Beverly made sure my drink was filled always checking on me as well as her other customers as well and it was a pleasure I'll definitely be back when I'm around here.

It's not a bad place. You can't really go wrong for breakfast, unless you get the steak & eggs. The steak was so bland, I asked for A-1 sauce. The service is above average. Overall, a decent small town diner.

My kids and I love Springfield Avenue Cafe. This is our go to place on Sundays for breakfast. The kids love the funny face pancakes and my favorite is the Eggs your way breakfast with sausage links and biscuits and gravy that I HAVE to share with the kids. While we wait for our breakfast, they try to beat me at tic tac toe. The service is amazing and the food is delicious.
