Probably actually 4 stars but gave them the benefit of the doubt. This place was a mixed bag for us. The food was really, really good. The prices are just as expensive as you would expect from a BBQ place, if you don't like that then hit up a drive through. For us the downside was the experiance/staff. When we're there end of August, and I would expect the older lady taking orders was new or just bad at her job. We said we had never been there and she didn't have any suggestions for what we should get. Okay, I get that. But when we were obviously dismayed that there were practically no good choices for their bottled drinks (lots of empty slots), it would have been great if she mentioned that they had other drink choices around the corner out of view. Then of course she brought us the wrong food and we didn't know the difference because we had no idea what we ordered to begin with. The father daughter patrons across the room noticed though and gave us dirty looks as they and the lady figured out what happened and they were watching us already chowing down their meals. I reiterate though, whatever the locals ordered was really, really good.

Stumbled upon this place for lunch and we were so glad we did. Ordered a brisket sandwich. First off, brisket here is fire! So good! We also got a Korean pork belly pizza, fantastic! Casual place and tasty food. Recommend this place for anyone looking for a great meal.

Travelled in from NE TN and were looking for a good place to eat supper. The listing for this restaurant caught our eye. We went in with bbq in mind. But my husband saw the pizza and changed his mind. We tried the bbq pork sandwich, hand cut fries and a large pizza. The pizza was delicious - crust was perfect! The bbq with house bbq sauce was great and the fries were the perfect accompaniment. The outdoor seating area was very nice. If we lived close to this restaurant we would be there for supper at least once a week!

I came all the way from New York City for this barbecue and it was excellent! I began with a Pork Sundae, which was about the strangest meal I have ever ordered, but it tasted great. My Mom had the chicken sandwich which also had a great smoked flavor to it. The fries and baked beans were also delicious in their own unique way. Lastly, we finished with a chocolate chip skillet cookie. I liked this place.

Wow, just wow! The food was amazingly good. 12 to 16 beers on tap and plenty of craft beers in the refrigerator. Highly recommend eating while you're here. Only downside was there were no TV on to watch.

Sublime Smoke is an impressive addition to the Canton area! I am originally from coastal North Carolina, and it was a pleasant surprise to come across pulled pork that wasn’t mushy and soggy. I’ve been twice now and the food is consistently well prepared, deliciously seasoned, with sauces that compliment everything. It was even MORE surprising to find that one of the sides offered were collard greens!! And not just a novelty offering either, but again, expertly prepared and seasoned; if I had a biscuit I would’ve soaked up the pot liquor from the collards like the true Southern Boy I am!! If I sound super excited over this place it’s because I am. Their beer selection is also extremely impressive AND they have excellent gear for sale (I bought a nice hat and a zip-up hoodie), but the thing that took it over the edge for me was the availability of Cheerwine on the fountain drink! I was immediately a teenager in the mid 90s again, hanging out with my friends on Topsail Island, celebrating graduation! The ONLY critique I have is that I was hoping they would surprise me with the vinegar sauce from the coast that I grew up having, but like I said, the sauces available were fantastic… so not really a critique, but more of a longing, lol! And that’s what truly good food and a good dining environment does, right? They take you back to the good. They make you laugh and remember and open you for new memories, that you can look back on fondly. So make some new memories at Sublime Smoke, with new friends and let the excellent staff help you order! Enjoy the wonderful food, buy yourself a sweet hoodie… and have a glass of Cheerwine for me at my new favorite place in all of Ohio!!
