Excellent food at this place. Swiss German Bistro is a restaurant with a quaint setting. Probably seats around 40 or so. The potato cakes are excellent, crispy and tasty. I ordered the Schnitzel tower which consisted of the veal cutlet and more potato cakes along with a topping of a fried egg. Great

This is, by far, one of the best German food we've tasted in this area. The portions are filling yet manageable and the owners are wonderful. If you have a larger group- make a reservation as it's a small venue.

The food was good but the quantity was pitiful for the price. 6 small pieces of beef stew meat with some gravy is the goulash for $13 along with a little red cabbage and some spaetzle! The value just isn't there. In the Chicago area you would have had left overs along with soup, bread and dessert

New ownership continues the successful "Stephan's German Bistro" by 90 % in the new "Swiss German Bistro. The menu is the same added two swiss items and the food seams too. Still a place to relax in German culture with the awesome German TV classics.
