We had such a positive experience here today! Visiting from Asheville and on a very strict diet-the server knew exactly what to recommend and how to best modify it to fit our restrictions. The service was great, as we were there at a weird in-between time when most servers would just put in the bare minimum. The food was delicious, well-seasoned, hot, just all around fantastic! I highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food!!! All four of us had different meals, the meatloaf with balsamic glaze, venison burger with cranberries/goat cheese, the ultimate burger and a good old fashioned burger. They were all great, the restaurant is a little small and a typical hippie-ish vibe but truly not one bad thing to say about the place. The whole menu sounded so enticing we all had a hard time choosing what to eat, no doubt anyting would have been good!
Delicious, eclectic, fresh and unique! One of the few places in Boone that I'm actually excited to eat at. I've been going there since it was Angelicas (even when I lived 2 hours away). The cook staff NAILS IT every time (I'm on a mission to try something new each visit). My favorites have been the Roberto Royale (yummy comfort food), the Avocado Tempeh Melt (fav. sandwich), the Quesadilla Bayamo (please bring that one back) and today the Cuzco Cakes (amazing and beautifully presented). The wait staff is always super chill, friendly and helpful, and the patio eating is the best downtown people watching place in Boone. I do still call it Hob Nob, but the name change is my only complaint. ;) 6 stars if I could.
Here on vacation Florida. Front desk clerk(haley) at the Laquinta recommended this place. She was spot on because it was amazing Loved the atmosphere and the staff was awesome. Large portions and very reasonably priced. And dessert..omg there is not a word for it. It was over the top. The magic cookie bar dessert. Was delectable... All in all it was fabulous. A definite 5 stars.
Wow! What amazing, fresh local fare. I am so glad we found this place on our trip to this area from Florida. Cool little place with an incredible menu and super friendly staff. I would come back to Boone just to come here and try more menu items!
SUCH a great restaurant! Food was (and always is) on point and our waitress Emmy was really down to earth and very helpful! The tempeh tacos and Cuzco cakes are my favorites on the menu, 5 stars :D.
What an amazing restaurant with delicious healthy choices for our whole family. The service was incredible and the servers could be our best friends! I definitely recommend this place
Unbelievable fresh ingredients in creative dishes! We enjoyed the venison burger, curry shrimp bowl and chicken tacos. Wine choices were awesome as well. Can’t wait to come back from the coast for another meal here!
It was delicious! I ate every bite. Very fresh ingredients. I don't normally eat biscuits. I ate both that were on my plate. They melt in your mouth!
Great food, great service, nice atmosphere!! Definitely recommend this place.
Absolutely amazing food and friendly staff!!! The best vegetarian cuisine I have had in ages! Cant wait to come back!

This was my second visit to Wild Craft Eatery and there were no dispointments! Wait staff and food were great!
I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant, everything about it is top notch!
This is a great little place to eat and has many vegan and vegetarian options!! A solid 4.5 because my wife's meal was completely the wrong meal brought to our table. Everything tasted and looked great minus our chicken slightly dry. If you want a peaceful, quiet meal, I suggest you eat inside because of Boone traffic. All in all a good experience here!
Such a quaint place in boone.
Loved the food and service.
They have few varieites of local beer, we tried a few and liked the mountain wheat.
for food we had
smoke gouda soup, nachos as apps.
vegan salad,
tacos - fish was stale and dint feel great.
daily special - yellow curry and ended with cheesecake.
Overall food was good.
Walking through downtown Boone, the wife and I worked up an appetite. After window shopping a few restaurants we decided on Wild Craft Eatery.
After walking in, the humble appearance of the restaurant had us second guessing our decision, HOWEVER the food reassured us that our choice was the right one.
The wife ordered a grill cheese sandwich with avocado and tomato. She also ordered tomato gouda soup.
I ordered a hamburger with the side. Unsure of what my side would be, I became a copycat and also ordered tomato gouda soup.
The wait wasn't too long. We chatted and before we knew it, the food was in front of us.
A few bites in my better half said her sandwich was delicious. Two spoonfuls of soup later, she commented the soup was even better. In fact, she said this was the best tomato soup she had ever tasted.
My burger was no less spectacular. It was one of the best burgers I have ever tasted in NC. And the tomato gouda soup was the best I've ever tasted.
The only negative was I thought the burger should have come with a side of fries. But regardless, it was worth the cost.
We'll definitely return on our future trip to Boone.
My husband and I don’t normally go to the same restaurant more than once while on vacation as we like to try different spots, but we did here. We got the Habana Plate, the Garam Masala Yellow Curry, and the Nori Amore and they were all amazing. Andrew was our server, and he was so attentive and gave great recommendations. My husband also absolutely loved their apple pie. Wish we had a place like this back home!
I've always been told that it's a must try in Boone,NC. That explains why there is always a wait. Loved it! Especially how organic the ingredient where. There's indoor and outdoor seating, the latter gives an amazing view of downtown Boone.
I went at an odd hour between lunch and dinner so it was uncrowded and service was very quick. The waiter was great and had helpful recommendations when I asked.
The hibiscus tea (unsweetened) was delicious and he swapped out my nearly empty glass with a new one before I needed it.
Mahi Sammy was delish - great combo of light crispy toast and flavorful fish with cilantro/aioli/coleslaw. It was as savory and satisfying as a pulled pork sandwich for a pescatarian. I also recommend the Gouda tomato bisque - it's bomb.
Raspberry white chocolate cheesecake finished off this all around great meal.
Cool local favorite in Boone right on the main drag. Their menu selections are extremely creative and delicious. There are tons of vegan and vegetarian options, with lots of Tempeh (I am a Tempeh lover). There are options for meat eaters as well! We had the Mahi Mahi tacos, absolutely delicious. The fish was moist, grilled, well seasoned, and the accouterments were yummy. We were so tempted by the Tempeh Reubens... next time! They have a nice selection of creative cocktails and craft brews.
The atmosphere outside is really nice and covered. Inside is definitely not as nice. Dogs can join you outside (ours did and was fussed over!)
Our server was super friendly and took good care of us.
They have parking, which is great because it's hard to find parking downtown Boone. It's a popular spot, so you may have to wait. They do offer takeout (you need to call, they don't offer online ordering).
Nori Amore was pretty good! Tempeh, grains and avo with great flavors. The La Paz quinoa plate was kind of boring though, basically dressed up sweet potato. Our kid loved the kids menu quesadilla and it was generously portioned. Great environment and waitstaff!!
We try to visit here every time we are in Boone. Their tempeh tacos are some of the best tacos I have ever had! You can modify them to be vegan and they are so good. Perfectly seasoned and balanced! The staff is friendly and helpful. They have parking available, which is really nice. The patio is very enjoyable to sit on.
Really cute spot on the main area in boone. The wait staff was really nice and friendly, helpful with menu questions. My husband got the Habana plate which was delicious. I got a bunless burger and the tomato gouda soup. The soup was soo good!! 🍅 The burger was pretty good. It was 18 dollars for a burger and an additional 3 for the soup. My main complaint is it didn't come with a side included making it 21 dollars for a burger meal. Still would recommend but I would try something from a global grub section of the menu instead
