We went to Le Voile to celebrate our anniversary on a Saturday night. The restaurant was quite busy but the ambiance was just perfect for a date night. We ordered leek and potato soup and Les Moules (mussels in curry sauce) for our apps. For the main course we had braised lamb shoulder and roasted duck breast. The lamb was cooked to tenderness and the gratin that came with it was absolutely delicious. I was not a fan of the roasted duck, I wish the skin was made crispier than it was. Our server was attentive and the service was excellent.

I had such a great time at La Voile. They’re very accommodating with my reservation and always call to confirm if you’re actually going to your reservation. The food was delicious. Restaurant has a great cozy vibe. I would definitely come back and explore more food options

I’d give it 4.5 stars if I could- Beautiful, delicious food. The saffron mussels dish and blueberry duck dish were highlights for me. Impeccable service. Delicious and wine and cocktails

Had only been here once previously many years ago, but my most recent experience at La Voile was fantastic. Would give it 4.5 stars, but rounded up since that's not an option. Was seated at a table outside promptly with a reservation. Tables were comfortable, with adequate space in between them (can be an issue for outdoor dining in Boston) and were quite comfortable. Ordered the 3-course menu and it did not disappoint. Had the foie gras appetizer - I thought it was out of this world. Admittedly have never had FG before but it was truly wonderful - everything on the plate was delicious. Followed with the beef tenderloin with peppercorn gravy and veggies. The veggies were fresh, the beef was cooked perfectly, and the peppercorn sauce was very tasty. The dessert was a sampler tray of a macaron, crème brulee, and chocolate mousse - all delicious, and that's saying something because I'm a dessert person. We were not rushed at all. Stayed for 3 hours eating & chatting. Server was very knowledgeable and friendly. Overall a great atmosphere with delightful food. Also had a cocktail that was delicious and a glass of wine perfectly recommended by the server. I'll be coming back!

French restaurants never seem to disappoint me - that was the case with La Voile as well. The food was great. I ordered the roasted duck breast (La Magret), and it was perfect. My wife ordered the roasted free range chicken and loved it - it was the most succulent chicken she ever had. Service was impeccable.

This restaurant is always full of people and has incredible service. I’ve found this hard to come by in boston since the pandemic. The food is classic french food done well. The menu is not extensive, but it covers most bases. Highly recommend for a cozy and fun dinner.

This is one of the few restaurants that I would give a six star rating to. The lamb and the duck were exquisitely prepared, The service was exemplary.

5 stars for authentic French cuisine and service. They know what they're doing, waiters spoke fluent French and were 100% on their game. Foie gras was perfect. Will be back next time we are in the area.

I loved the service and atmosphere, but I was disappointed with the flavor of the duck, or La Magret, as it's called. It lacked flavor and didn't have the type of crust I was expecting. But everything else was fantastic.
