Ate breakfast/brunch here before leaving for home. Had Lobster Hushpuppies and Croque Madame. Washed it done with the Bloody Mary made with cucumber vodka. Lots of food! Could have fed several more people! Hahaha. Everything was really delicious! Service was attentive without being too fussy. Lovely atmosphere, too. Comfortable and cozy.

Best Bar Staff in the City I am a regular here and the staff is mixed ethnicity and sexuality and are exceptional. Room is big and usually busy. It is a great place to meet people. The menu has been through several overhauls and has some great dishes but not much that feels like a main course. Great Pizzas. Drinks are well poured and generous ,and the Staff at the door Especially Cheryl, are very attentive and fun to be around

My family spent two nights at the Fairmont Copley Dec. 30th and 31st and we dined a few times at the Oak Long Bar. The attention and service we received was superb. We were seated to accommodate our GSD service dog, so he had room to relax but not be in the way. We were given great tips on drinks and food. New Year's Day we enjoyed fabulous Bloody Mary's and the kids had unbelievable hot cocoa. Due to a snafu earlier in the month for my birthday luncheon, the managers had bottles of Champagne waiting for us upon check in. The OLB is a visually stunning restaurant with top notch service. Truly one of our all time favorite places to visit in Boston.

Had a large group of 17 our experience was wonderful from the set up, the delicious food, and the service. Attention was paid to every detail, and it was noticed. Thank you to the entire back and front staff at Oak Long Bar and Kitchen. Can't wait to come again!

I debated giving a 3 or a 4. It’s always crowded and hard to get a seat at the bar. If you do, the service is decent but if you don’t things move way too slow. Almost so slow it’s worth deducting two stars. On top of that the hostesses are always unfriendly. I know they have a ton of business but their attitude is that they don’t need anyone else so good luck to you. Their late night menu is painfully small just burgers and fries. Would it be so hard to have a dessert so I could stop in for a treat and a night cap. I did get the burger and fries and it was good. Decently big burger with good sauce. I always enjoy the cocktails there. Bottom line, if you can get a seat at the bar, it’s a great place for a late night drink, otherwise the service can be slow and less than friendly. I’d give it a 3 but I keep going back so I guess it deserves a 4.

Boasting high arched ceilings and classic décor in a historic building, OAK Long Bar offers an undeniably opulent environment for an evening cocktail. The bar chairs, large and exceptionally comfortable, further enhance the ambience. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the grandeur of the setting. With dishes often feeling like overpriced hotel fare, the culinary experience was more of a miss than a hit. None of the dishes particularly stood out, and I found the Whole Grilled Haddock to be particularly disappointing. Given the hefty price tag, I had higher expectations in terms of both quality and portion size, but the fish was dry and lacked any inspired flavor. On a more positive note, the Beef Tartare, Cajun Shrimp, and Wild Mushroom & Truffle Pizza were relatively better, though not exceptional. To their credit, the service was prompt and professional, offering a silver lining to the dining experience. While the bar at OAK Long Bar is worth revisiting for a casual drink, the culinary offerings left a lot to be desired. I'd recommend the venue for a memorable drink but wouldn't return specifically for the food.

If you’re looking for some of the most unique craft cocktails in the Back Bay, you have to visit Oak Long Bar + Kitchen. It is upscale, so I highly recommend dressing accordingly and leaving the kids at home. The Oak Long Bar + Kitchen is located inside of the Five-Star, Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel. The property is very upscale and offers stunning, historic design and architecture. You’ll be amazed by the historic, gold-flake ceilings and marble throughout. We decided to stop in for lunch while heading to the Copley Square farmers market. Unfortunately, we were unaware that the market was temporarily moved to a new location. I was hungry and figured we’d enjoy the day and grab some lunch/early dinner. We stopped in while the lunch menu was still available. We were seated right away near the long bar and the fire place. The ceilings and architecture of the historic room is incredible. They were reasonably busy for lunch and the bar filled up quickly. This is certainly the place to come to close a deal or discuss business over craft-cocktails. They offer an incredible cocktail program and that is where they truly shine. We started with the “Pie in the Sky”. It is made with Tito’s, Falernum, Passionfruit, Lime, and Agave. The cocktail program offers expertly-mixed, smooth, and incredibly unique craft-cocktails. They also offer a solid selection of craft and local beers and they do offer a solid fine wine selection. If you aren’t big on alcohol, they do offer unique and creative “mocktails”. If you’re looking for a delicious lunch, they have you covered. They offer a small, but solid selection of appetizers, soup, salad, pizza, and entrées. My only complaint is I do wish they offered a larger selection of options. I also wish they offered more seafood options and an upscale raw bar. We started with the “Blue Hill Mussels”. They were prepared in a plum tomato sauce with ‘nduja, sweet chilies, and adorned with potato straws. They were hands-down some of the best mussels I have ever had. They were incredibly large, probably the largest I’ve ever had. They were cooked perfectly and they were incredibly flavorful. The sauce was bursting with flavor and a slight kick of heat! The fresh grilled bread on-top was PERFECT for dipping and soaking up the delicious sauce. For my main course, I decided to get their Burger. I’ve had it before and it is the most flavorful and juicy burger in Boston. It comes with smoked bacon, bibb lettuce, red onion jam, sharp Vermont cheese, and aioli. I am not sure what the secret is, but it is bursting with flavor and juice. The flavors all come together and just hit right! It comes out piping hot and the fries are the perfect pairing. They cook the burger perfectly to your liking. The service is Five-Star level. Our waitress was phenomenal and ensured any questions we had were answered. She made some great recommendations and ensured all our needs were met. I’d highly recommend Oak + Long Bar to tourists, hotel guests, and locals alike. The food and craft-cocktails are phenomenal. I love how they incorporate local and craft ingredients into their dishes and cocktails.

This is breakfast menu as of August 2023. Breakfast is good. Staff is great. There are plenty rooms if you come early 7-9 AM. But if you cone late, you have to wait around 5-10 minutes.

Very nice bar spot in Back Bay. The interior is classy without being overwhelming and the other guests meet the vibe. The cocktails we had were delicious and fairly priced given the location. Only critique is the service was a little awkward at times and can you please use proper ice cubes for your Negronis? Not the cheap refrigerator ones.😉

We went here for dinner based off a recommendation from a friend. We ordered the mushroom truffle pizza, which was delicious, although a bit salty. The menu is not overly expensive, but there are a few items to choose from that we found appealing. Our friends split a New York steak while we split the papardelli pasta. Our server was a bit goofy friendly nonetheless. The weather outside was in the low 60°, but unfortunately inside the tall ceiling ornate restaurant, the venting system left us colder inside then we were outside. Historic and ancient buildings aren’t all so necessary to visit for meals.

Incredibly memorable for a "Lobby bar" the cocktail selection is excellent, and the food is good, prepared right in front of you. Classic early 1900 feel with a modern vibe, we enjoyed entertaining clients here as well as a night cap.

I love this bar. Excellent choice of scotch and great place to celebrate an occasion. The cookie and ice cream dessert was OK. The cookie was over cooked so it made it hard to eat with a spoon. The bees knees cocktail was really good!

The best clam chowder I've had. I was completely blown away. I could not stop eating. We also had lobster rolls and a veggie pizza. Last time we had lobster rolls in boston it was bad. It was at a different place. I'm totally sold on lobster rolls now and clam chowder. Very good on a cold day and it was very cold in Boston this trip. The vibe here felt like a place to get a drink instead of food. We didn't mind and the restaurant is old but it is wonderful to look at. Thank you for the great service.

We went here for my wife's birthday and had an amazing time. One of the coolest parts are the chairs you sit in at the hi-top tables. Normally you get a little barstool, but not here. You get a massive, oversized, extremely comfortable chair. All of the food was delicious. Pizza was spot on, our main meals were great-we got a lobster roll and it was one of the best lobster rolls we have had in the city. They also have a large bourbon selection if you are a fan. However, the absolute best part was the oven baked chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream. I could eat that over and over again. Will definitely come back here for dinner again, both for the great food, and The Gilded Age vibe.

We had wonderful experience in the Long Oak Bar due to the lovely sever, Varnia. During an incredibly busy pre-holiday evening, we were hoping to grab some dessert before heading up to our room, but there seemed to be no open tables. She saw us talking about what to do next, and she took us over to a table and let the hostess know. Within 5 minutes, a huge, warm chocolate chip cookie with a giant scoop of ice cream with two spoons was in front of us. Thank you Varnia for being so sweet and kind and taking great care of us.
