Neptune Oyster - Boston - Photo album

Must try lobster roll and oysters! It's a small restaurant so wait is a must and they do not take reservations. I came to dine as a single person so I waited 5 minutes before I was seated on a weekday dinner time. I ordered 3 fresh oysters and a warm lobster roll with salad. The oysters were super f
You need to know we almost came back for a second visit :o The oyster selection from the raw bar had good variety from the east coast - briny, sweet and all that. Majority being medium size. We ranked all the east coast ones and had a few 8s, 9s and 10/10s. Pricing was also very fair, all under $4e
We were visiting from LA and came here for the oysters. They had a great selection, and all were delicious. On top of a whole bunch of oysters, we also got the Scallop Crudo and a few raw clams, which were also fantastic. The wait of course is a different story. We got there at 10:30 AM on a Sunday
Waited an hour to get in, and the inside is quite small and crowded so a lot of the tables are shared. The clam chowder was good, but the lobster roll (warm with butter) made the wait worth it. Scallops were good too, but for my taste the pancetta was a bit overwhelming. There was a line up when we
The Legendary Neptunes did not disappoint. Fresh raw bar and their lobster rolls are fantastic. Piles of buttered lobster chunks on their roll, generous portion of their crispy fries. Ordered a few dozen of their raw oyster selection. The line and wait time was long but definitely worth the wait. Tr
The lobster roll was good and came with a big portion of fries but it was almost $40 The oysters were good too but the highlight was the mussels with nduja. The line was very long and slow, we waited over an hour to sit at the bar. I personally wouldn’t wait in line again but I’m glad I finally trie
Great selection of oysters. We enjoyed sitting at the bar overlooking the street and watching them plate oysters, and once we got there I wish we would have come hungry. The menus looked fantastic. Cool vibe, much more enjoyable than the other oyster house we stopped at.
This came very recommended by everyone I spoke too so I had high expectations. The oysters and lobster roll were nice and fresh. The scallop crudo was heavenly sweet and came in large chunks (my favourite item). Clam chowder was also light and delicious. Only con was the oyster burger was a bit dry
Quintessential oyster place in Boston, our second visit here and still amazing. The one downside is the wait time, expect to wait 1-2 hours if you don't show up early. Best option is to be at the restaurant by 10 AM (they open at 11). The oysters are extremely fresh, very flavourful and amazing. Thi
❗️believe the hype❗️ All of the reviews and hype about this restaurant is well deserved. Waited in line for 1 solid hour. I was looking for a lobster roll, clam chowder, and oysters while in Boston, and it did not disappoint. Some of the BEST clam chowder and lobster roll I’ve ever had. Simple and
Really enjoyable. My first taste of lobster roll and didn't disappoint! I queued for about 15 or so minutes to get in at 1245ish on a Saturday lunchtime. Very friendly service and the food was great.
Just wow. It really lives up to the hype. I got the lobster roll there and I nearly shed a tear it was so good. I 10/10 recommend this place. I visited Boston on a business trip and I spoke with locals who said this was the place to go. You have to wait in line as the place is small, but it is so wo
Fantastic food and experience. My first lobster 🦞 roll was filled with sweet lobster chunks and the salad dressing on the arugula salad that was served with it was simple but outstanding flavor. There's a wait to get in but after you eat here you'll understand why!
Tiny bar, no reservations, but worth the wait. Every dish I've had here has been exceptional: the oysters with house mignonette, the fried Ipswich clams (so juicy!), the johnnycake with creme fraiche and caviar, the crispy salted french fries, and of course, the main reason people come here, the lob
Easily and I mean easily the best seafood in Boston. The scallop crudo was out of this world, and the soft shell crabs that had been pan fried were next level. Lobster roll was excellent, but the flavors of dishes that allowed for complex flavors was absolutely extraordinary. They open at 11am but t
The wait is worth it! A party of 2, waited about 45 minutes to be seated. Small but very vibrant restaurant with nice waitstaff and the food is amazing! The oysters (MA, WA) are the best I’ve ever had, Lobster roll and cocktails are delicious.
