Gourmet Dumpling House - Boston - Photo album

Always filled with people (locals & tourists alike), rare to find a seat without waiting. So we took the chance to get lunch here. Lunch menu price is acceptable, not the cheapest, at $11.50 per dish plus white rice, no soup nor spring rolls. Dishes came out lightning fast despite a much filled res
The food here was delicious! The soup is super hot when it comes out so let it cool off and you only need one for the table because it is so massive! The dumpling filling was good, but needs a little more flavor. Overall a good meal that was inexpensive. Definitely get here for an early dinner becau
Great Chinese food place. The inside is a bit crowded, but the food is definitely worth it. The dumplings are delicious and well priced, as was the dried bean curd with pork. The staff are also fairly attentive and the service is really fast. Would highly recommend if you're looking for standard, au
The dumpling were okay, but would have been better if I ate there instead of take out. The vegetable dumplings were interesting, but I wouldn't get them again. The meat dumplings were good though. The menu options were overwhelming at first, but looking at other reviews helped to narrow down my opt
In A Nutshell: -Gourmet Dumpling House is a very nice restaurant serving up Northern & Southern Chinese comfort food. -The XLB's are very good, they are big in size compared to some of those fancier places full of juices (you should definitely order these). -The chicken & broccoli was very deliciou
Gourmet Dumpling Home, not Gourmet Dumpling House. Gourmet Dumpling House is truly a home 💜 thank you Gourmet Dumpling House for serving the Boston community for so many years. The soup dumplings are incredible and the food comes out so quickly and fast. It’s been a honor to try your food! Thank you
Yummy!!! Always packed and busy, can definitely see why. They are quick to seat and serve you. Lots of large portions, be mindful of what you are ordering. Tons of flavor, lots of variety, great recommendations. If you are not sure what to get, the name of the restaurant says it all. We looked at ou
We came back here after two years and I would still recommend this place! We didn’t get the same items from before but loved the soup dumplings (xiao long bao)! They were steaming hot when it was served on the table and it was perfect. I couldn’t also resist getting the spicy chicken dish (F2). If y
We got the steamed flounder with scallion, steamed watercress, Szechuan chicken and soup dumplings. Everything was very good and came out very quickly. Only negative is that there is always a line out the door because this place is so popular. No reservations. Another thing I’ve noticed is that the
This is the place to go for Shanghai dumplings. The broth and the stuffing is amazing! It is very fragrant and flavorful. If you like mustard greens, their fresh noodle soup with pork and mustard greens was fabulous! Their chow fun was also really good. They make all their noodles fresh and in house
Good place to get dinner. I don't recommend it for a big group of 6+, they are usually full on weekends and don't have many chairs. The dining area is very small so say good bye to personal space. The food was okay for the price point around 15 USD.
My son took me to Dumpling house and I totally enjoyed it. It is a small place so get there early and be ready to wait (outside) or to share a table with a stranger (great way to meet new people). Food is delicious and fresh. Although I loved the dumpling, my favorite dish was the beef and watercres
Gourmet Dumpling House is one of my favorite restaurants in Chinatown. They are notoriously busy. They're not one of the top restaurants in Boston for nothing. Unfortunately if you dine here as a couple you will be sharing a table with strangers which will be the only unpleasant thing about your din
We enjoyed the dishes we ordered. The chef cook so fast like a magic. Each stir fried dish came within 3 minutes after we ordered.
I absolutely loved the food it was so delicious, I didn’t like how family style it was and how small the space was. The wait was a little long but I’ll definitely be going again.
Amazing! I have never been to a better China town. Tastiest sweet and sour shrimp I have ever had. The only downside is that they do not serve hot tea. That is really the only reason why I rate this as a 4-star. If you can deal without the hot tea, do not go anywhere else.
