Hidden away from the main street, Bricco panetteria is a small counter-serve shop with a limited selection of pastries and Italian breads. Since they were located in the alley behind its main restaurant, it wasn’t easy to find, but I was glad we took our time to make the visit.
Compared to other It
I was on a food tour (North End Boston Food Tour with Robert Agrippino) I was introduced to sfogliatella. It's a beautiful thing. This place is great with a variety of breads, pizza and treats. Its down an alley so be sure to stop! Salumeria across the way!
Bricco Panetteria is located at the end of an alley by Bricco Panetteria and it's definitely a hidden gem. The decor is humble, simple and tiny-spaced, so people need to line up by the stairs but the staff served everything quickly.
We were recommended to get a loaf with prosciutto & cheese and foc
If you are looking for freshly baked bread that is out of this world-look no further! This is The Place! I also purchased some little Italian pastries which did not make it home-I ate them as I walked The North End. Exceptional service, too and reasonably priced.
Went there after hearing a lot of positive things about them... As much as the staff is nice, I’m not really convinced with the look and taste of their baguettes, probably because I had too high expectations. It’s fine, the rest seemed tasty, I’ll eventually try.
Also, you should visit before 2 or 3
Best Sfogliatelle ever !!!
This place is a hidden jem. Perfect size and the food is great! So many delicate layers.
Pizza was absolutely delicious. Place is easy to miss but worth a visit. Bread smelled perfect.
THIS PLACE is a magical little destination tucked away in the heart of Boston. the Bricco guys realllllly know what they are doing. By tucking this off the main strip, through a back alley and behind a main building, they created a genuine allure and draw to this place.
Just walking there and desce
Great place. The bread is fantastic. Service is exceptional. Highly recommend.
Always fresh and warm bread 🥖 🍞 great prices, only cash.
spectacular craft bakery, the variety of fresh products, their taste and quality are worth visiting if they are on tourism, and if they live in Boston become usual buyers. right at the entrance of the local is a small Italian still life, SPECTACULAR.
A literal hole in the wall! I love walking down the sketchy alley to the bread stairway! The warmth and smell of yeast triggers so many childhood memories for me. The olive bread is to die for but everything is great. Don't think, just go.
They have delicious bread and pastries and all made the old fashion way! They r a mom and pop store and hope they still continue their tradition of the iconic breads and pastries! I would recommend them!
Best bread and Italian dishes thumbs down. Great customer service, and the location is close to everything.
A tiny little tucked back location (down a little alley) but follow the smell of the homemade bread😍 the sandwiches were well priced, large and super delicious!!!
Loved this hidden gem in the city. Bread was fresh and tasty.
