Very good selection of beers on tap and bottles. Food does the job. Atmosphere is outstanding, narrow and long, eclectic music and charismatic staff. Nothing really compares in the area.

Loved this place. Great vibe, music was perfect, everyone was chill, service was good. I’m not from around here and was looking for somewhere more low key than the fancy places up the street. This place didn’t disappoint! Will probably be my go to bar when I come back.

So this place is a HOLE in the wall. However, this is not a bad thing in the least. I ordered the bacon cheese burger and fries. Normally I do not like fries (don't judge me I am not a fry guy). These fries were perfect. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The burger was cooked perfectly and seasoned (it is amazing how many places don't do that anymore). The music here is very eclectic and played on a record player (how cool is that). This is a must stop for a drink and some food good.

Only came on here to say that the bouncer is really nice and whoever was on Aux last night played massive attack’s Mezzanine in full and I really appreciated that (they’re always playing BANGERS)

This is my favorite bar in Boston after 5 years. Unassuming Irish kinda pub. There is only beer, no spirits, great food, and great drinks. You will walk over the highway to find a tiny red facade with four curved lights and Bukowski Tavern spelled out in big yellow font. It may not be wide, but the bar is long with plenty of bar stools and tables for around 40-50 people. Stickers line the back wall behind the bar. Make sure you bring some to add to the collage. Mugs hang from the ceiling, and they only play vinyl. If you are feeling adventurous, spin the wheel for a random drink. My friends and I play games to see who has to spin. The staff is always wonderful, adding to the conversation and keeping things lively.

Great place to grab a beer or four. Well curated tap list plus a great bottle collection. Atmosphere is incredible, and they play great vinyl too. The food's not bad.

Cool vibe with a lot of seating, even at busy times. Decent beer selection but one staff member was incredibly rude and blunt. Not what I expected from the trendy and chill atmosphere. Slightly ruined our time here.

Cool beatnik like vibe at this little dark bar in Back Bay of Boston. They play vinyl behind the bar. Great beer and nice little menu to boot! Even serve vegan food! You can get your own mug to hang up top the bar with your favorite dead author inscribed:) cheers!

Awesome little dive bar. Good beer selection. Food was a little pricey for how simple it was, but no complaints on the quality for a late night little bite and nightcap before heading home. Staff was great. Bartender was attentive and pleasant. Music was amazing. Rocking some great 80s tunes on vinyl. When I was leaving, the last vinyl playing was from the Cocteau Twins. I understand it was the bartender's private collection. Impeccable taste. 10/10 would be back for a couple of drinks either before heading out or heading in.

Old style bar with beer. Only beer. Lots of beer. Had a good sandwich, too

Came in here a number of times while in Boston. Busy and bustling in the late evening, calm and relaxed in the early evening. Both vibes very nice. Great selection of high quality beer. Very impressive and crate-diving music selection too.

A quirky little bar that also happens to serve some pretty decent burgers. Be warned, they're a little on the counter culture side and they only take cash so no credit cards. I came by for lunch and got a bacon BBQ burger. It was really good, but a little messy. Overall I had a good time, but I wish they took credit card. the bartender was also attentive.

Really fun place. “Dive Bar” with excellent beer selection on tap, wonderful service, lively and friendly customers, and a truly “lived in” ambiance that is comfortable and intriguing the moment you walk in. Despite better by long and narrow of a space, fully crowded, acoustics still allow conversation without shouting. If you are downtown Boston at night and want a beer and pub food, highly recommend.

An amazing watering hole tucked away in a corner behind construction barriers. Cheap and delicious food, amazing choclatini's and wonderfully patient staff, you want to visit this place atleast once if you're in Boston!
