The Harvard Club was a perfect place to land for the Boston Marathon, 2018. The staff was great. Our room was spacious and comfortable. I'll be back!
My wife and I were guests at The Harvard Club and enjoyed the entire experience. Our server, Brian, was cordial and extremely informative relative to the specials and the dinner menu. We enjoyed entire experience.

The Harvard Club provides a memorable evening with amazing food and world class entertainment.
It’s very pretty on the inside, very cool to walk around and see so much history. Also it’s very House Gryffindor-like vibes. 🤓
The Harvard Club is an absolutely incredible place to host a wedding! The getting ready spaces are spacious enough for any sized wedding party, the historic charm inside and out is unparalleled, the ceremony + reception rooms are stunning, and the staff goes above and beyond when it comes to hospitality.
As a wedding photographer, I work at 15-25 venues each year (over 12+ years) and The Harvard Club is absolutely one of my favorites. They treat their vendors like guests (sadly, a rare occurrence to be treated like a human, let alone have the staff serve you multiple courses then COOKIES for dessert) and Chelsea is the BEST coordinator there. Harvard Club couples get the absolute best service, photo ops, location, all it!
If you're looking for a grand, luxurious downtown Boston venue, don't skip The Harvard Club!

When you are in here, you are in for a great meal! The ambience is cozy and the wood panel decor gives a traditional New England feel.
Beautiful architecture and delicious food! I visited the Harvard Club of Boston for an event, and it was well-staffed, ran on-schedule, and the food was amazing.
Excellent impeccably dressed helpful staff- friendly and efficient. Food was served promptly and the entire menu delicious. (I did chuckle that the large beautiful painting with a horse facing away from the ballroom, made it near impossible to avoid making your speech right beneath it, ;) as that is where the lectern is located.) The elegance of the establishment supersedes this minor error in lectern placement!
Recently had a group dinner at this beautiful venue. Our dinner was held in the wine cellar room which provided a good privacy for the group. Consisted of a three course and some wine pairings, the meal was excellent in every aspect. I opted for the Caesar salad and the grilled swordfish, and I enjoyed both. Caesar salad was basic, but it set a nice tone for the entrée. Swordfish was perfectly cooked and I liked how they left the middle slightly undercooked to provide a variance in texture and flavor. Although the dishes here weren’t exactly innovative nor creative, it was truly an epitome of classic American dining.
Harvard Club of Boston was an epic venue for our Ed School cocktail networking event. The building and Harvard name are not subtle, but you are not expecting that when you come here. However, the subtleties of familiar house names from campus strewn throughout were the nice details that did in fact make this alum feel at home.
Business Casual dress code and no hats. Great cocktails and fantastic medium sized venue space for our event.
Participated in a provider retreat here and the team was amazing! From assisting with coordination and providing needed information so that we could make informed decisions regarding our needs for the event, to monitoring the retreat progress to ensure food was ready and hot despite presentations going well over time. All members of the hospitality team were pleasant and extremely helpful, and the food was amazing! Chicken Picatta, flank steak with roasted peppers, broccolini, and a cheesy tortellini dish which really hit the spot along with a a wedge or ceaser salad and salad rolls.
Truly amazing service!
It's a great place if you're a member or have a friend who's willing to get you in. Rooms are big and comfortable. Not cheap, by any means, but a very decent stay.
