I love their food! Sushi is one of the best in Boston. I haven't able to find another place that offer sushi as good as Fish Market.

Hidden gem in a neighborhood of Italian restaurant! No seating (takeout only), but there's a park a few blocks away that's great for picnics. I got the lobster roll which they advertise out front. And after eating lobster rolls at 6 different places around Boston, this is hands down the best taste AND best value (beating famous places like Yankee, Row 34, and James Hook). The family who owns the store is so sweet. Recommend to walk the freedom trail and ending with a lobster roll here for a classic Boston experience.

Went to this place 2 times during my 3-day stay in Boston. The lobster roll is decent and you just can't beat the price of $19 in Salem St (be noted that they are cold, not hot and buttered). Hand-rolled sushi is fine too. The staffs were nice and attentive. I recommend grabbing the takeout and finding a place to eat in Paul Revere park.

This is a must go for anyone who is going to Boston. This has the best lobster roll I’ve ever had period. They’re good is on the spendy side, but everything that they have is absolutely worth every penny. There is no indoor seating area, so be prepared to take your food on the go. There’s many ways to eat whatever you do order, whether you take it back to your place, or you just eat on the street, there is not a wrong option. I highly recommend getting their Spicy Tuna roll with one lobster roll. You will walk away so satisfied, you can then go back with the knowledge and power to order ANYTHING off of their menu with confidence.

North End Fish Market is my favorite spot for sushi. You will be underwhelmed when you walk in but will be blown away by how generous and delicious the sushi is. This spot is easy to miss from the outside. Look for the blue sign as you head down Salem St. (On the right). Also note that there are no spots to sit, as this is a take out only joint. When the weather is good I recommend sitting at the park off of Cross St. (just one block away). The flavors are unique, the quality consistent, and the service is great. My favorite rolls are Spicy Girl and Volcano roll.

North End Fish and Sushi is the best sushi in all of Boston. NEFS has average appetizers, we got the gyoza. As for the entree you can’t find better. The Massachusetts Roll is the meaning of this great state. It has cooked Salmon and avocado on it. There is always a dollop of salmon on the side which is a nice little treat. Now talking raw sushi I highly recommend the Tuna with Avocado and Cucumber. It is hands down the best Tuna roll (so I’ve been told). Lastly if you are a vegan the sweet potato roll is so good. Usually they get a little soggy but these stayed impact. If you are in Boston and looking for great Sushi come take a look at this hole in the wall (literally a hold underground). You won’t be disappointed with this 4.6 out of 5 spot #massrollrocks

Good Sushi, the only caveat is that it’s pricy considering that it’s a seafood market and they don’t have to ship inventory as much like other sushi places do. Rolls were solid, but tasted a bit fishy no pun intended. Maybe I didn’t get as good of a batch.

Fresh & good tasting food. Sushi fish slices sized fair to the price. Combo size fair to the price. Convenient takeout. Everything to like here.

Really yummy sushi! Yesterday and today, I got the 2x salmon skin roll (pictured), eel avocado roll, and shrimp tempura roll with eel and avocado (specialty roll called rock n roll) plus a seaweed salad. All were very good. The salmon skin roll was my favorite. Lots of different tastes and consistencies. The staff are very friendly too. I highly recommend this place.

Honestly the best sushi I’ve had in a LONG time. Got the spicy salmon avocado roll, salmon avocado roll and the crazy salmon maki roll. The salmon was so smooth and delicious you could hardly tell the texture between the avocado and the salmon. The price was also amazing. This is definitely a new regular spot for me!!

The eponymous hole-in-the-wall sushi spot. Easy to miss but absolutely worth stopping by. Plan for taking the food to-go as there really isn’t any seating inside, but the food is phenomenal and the prices are quite good. We took our sushi a few short blocks to Rose Kennedy Greenway where there are plenty of tables and chairs for an outdoor meal.

Great place to grab some quick sushi, very friendly staff, good service. We were there during the slow season, sushi chef found us couple makeshift chairs so we can sit down and enjoy our food. Highly recommended :)

We stopped by today to grab takeout sushi and a lobster roll while in town. This is one of the freshest sushi and lobster gems you will find in all of Boston. I have been coming here since 2012 and the quality has continued to be very high. Great service and top notch fresh seafood. All takeout.

Great sushi! Very fresh and quick too. Not the best sushi you'll ever have- but if you're craving it then it gets the job done. Any of the rolls with mango are great, I had the mango avocado salmon roll with spicy mayo and it was so good.

This is my little secret, but this place has probably the best (cold) lobster roll that I've ever had. The lobster is decently plentiful, the mayo compliments the lobster very well, and the bun is nicely toasted. It's not cheap ($18), but it's probably the best roll out there.
