Great place. The draft beer is the freshest you'll get and the food is very good. I've been going to the Eire for 30 years and haven't a complaint. Years ago they just had sandwiches which are still the best around the pastrami is the best seller and for good reason a heaping portion of the leanest you'll find. And now they have a full menu that will satisfy any appetite and wallet. A must try.
One of the last surviving Bars in Adams Corner... with the recent addition of high end restaurants in the area, the pub has thankfully remained the same for years, and hopefully always will. It is an old school kind of place with many fixtures from the neighborhood, the bartenders are awesome, and the decor maintains a charm from years bygone, which is a very good thing. This place isn't trying to be something that it's not, and it's not going out of it's way to be hip and trendy like so many other new establishments in the area. If you are looking to go to a bar with outstanding service, awesome bar food and pints poured to perfection, this is the place!
The greatest pub in all the land. Kevin is the best bartender and host I’ve ever met. Can’t recommend this place enough.
The beer is cold! The food is simply great. My fave is the pastrami. I make my way here at least once a week!

The Erie Pub is a wonderful place to meet new people and you will have a great time there. The food is great and the drinks are too.
Excellent place! Good food, good drinks, and good company at prices you almost forgot were possible anymore. A fine Dorchester tradition still going strong - Boston Strong!
This place is amazing. Absolutely get the grilled swordfish or the sirloin steak and cheese. This place is THE best.
My greatest regret in reuniting with my wife and moving back home was leaving the Eire behind. Best neighborhood pub in Boston.
Always 5 for us! The friendliest bartenders, and always a friendly conversation! Not a bad item on the menu!
A legitimate Irish pub. Period. And one of the last pubs of its kind on Adams Corner in Dorchester. My sandwich was awesome. I work in Dorchester and visit as often as I can.
Fantastic! ...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
Best Pastrami Sandwich Evah--Secret Parking Lot out back, but don't take Albert's Spot!!
Nice Irish bar in Boston with a cool history. My review has to be 50 characters so i have to keep typing lallalalalalalalalalalalalal.
Went for a quick lunch and sat in a booth, across from the bar. The food and prices were great. The service, from the bartender, was good and friendly. The bathroom was actually pretty clean. I had a very good pastrami sandwich with French Fries and my guest had a nice Irish Stew. Would definitely recommend and return. 👍😊🍺
I get that the roast beef special is kinda the jam here, but my god this was the best tuna melt of my life. And the FRIES. Sweet jesus they're crispy and cooked to perfection I didn't even need ketchup I just devoured them.
The best proper Guinness in all of Dorchester can be had here.
Absolutely lovely - my true home. Happy St Patty's day y'all!
Just went for a couple beers with some friends. It is a good local pub.
Cheap place to drink and they open at 8am. I've eaten the chicken fingers many times and they are very good. They also have full meals on the menu. One of my favorite places to go on a sat. morning.
This place smells of Freedom and Guinness. Best pint you can get and it's a great price. Food is also very good. Nothing ultra complicated but they do it very well.
We went here for a bite to eat and a few beers, I had the delicious steak tip dinner w asparagus & mashed potatoes w gravy!! Beers were only $4, great place!!
Got two Rubens to go with fries and tater tots, they were amazing!! Sides were very crispy and perfect. Ruebens were loaded and very good quality. Definitely will order from here again when in the area
If you want some fancy drink with an umbrella, this is not your bar. But you want an authentic Irish pub in Boston with good drinks and great service, this is your bar. The food is really good too. Great atmosphere and regulars are super nice. I'd highly recommend it. Also Ronald Reagan visited here too. Stop reading this and go there for a beer.
Great neighborhood pub, stop in for an Irish whiskey or a pint of Guinness.
I stopped here to pick up some takeout while staying at a nearby hotel. Looks like a cozy place to be in as long as you are a Boston sports fan (I’m a Bills fan, though, so I didn’t quite fit in). The place was buzzing, which was a welcome sight to see with pandemic fatigue setting in. Aside from the masks, you’d never know how much the world changed over the last year. As for the food, I got a pastrami sandwich with fries. Very good! But they give you a LOT of fries. I actually couldn’t finish them all. Parking in the area is limited, so watch out.
So Nick the bartender tried to warn me and my friend to get the larger drink. We went for the small... let’s just say 5 mins later I had to order the large. The Caribbean Daiquiri is soooo gooood and the food is amazing. Definitely going to be a go to spot when I come to Vegas.
A proper pub with professional bar staff. The pints were tasty I didn't eat but the food looked good. Great location parking a little tight but you'll get there. Clientele is true Bostonian.
This place has been there for ever. Today was my first time eating here. The food was great. I had the pastrami sandwich with fries. One of the best I have ever had.
Great pub with lots of friendly people. Their pastrami & corned beef sandwiches are the best around! Damien is the best bartender & John the owner is kind& giving. Sorry John that sounds corny. .... ha ha ha....
Loved the atmosphere - friendly bartender and great food to cap it all!
