Love all of their treats! I have been coming here for years make everyone I know come here. Went for a last minute cake today and was saved when they were able to sell me this one and write on it for me. Super thankful! Best tasting cake I’ve ever had.
It was dad's birthday and we bought a cake from this bakery it! It literally was 🔥 so wicked good that everyone wanted to get a second slice! I called the bakery 15 minutes before closing and they went out their way to make sure my cake was perfect and offer to write a happy birthday on top!

Good bakery. I’ll give it 4 stars. Food quality, selection, freshness, etc is excellent and easily beats places like Whole Foods. Among the best quality bakeries in Boston (Flour another top choice). But you pay for it… 2 pies and a dozen pastries was like $120. Sorry (not sorry) I can’t tip on that
They have sumptuous selection of cakes, tarts, pastries and more. The chocolate cake was so delicious and staff are quite friendly too. Highly recommend!

Whenever I visit my elderly parents in Boston, I make several trips to this Bakery to purchase my parent's favorite treats. The pasties, people, and atmosphere are awesome!
Sugars consistently has cookies that are delicious and fresh. A good variety of flavors will not disappoint. They also have cupcakes that are not overly sweet and yet have a good flavor. There are also plenty of other pastries that you can choose from that will take care of your sweet tooth

We were searching for a bakery to get a custom made cake for our baby shower for a week. We found Sugar Baking and called them and they’re re very welcoming we visited them, they talked to us for half an hour and guided us. We had the best looking and tasting cake in the end! It took a while... the "pumkin whoopie pie" was selected...the complimentary bramble was also better than "icing on the cake."

They did a fantastic job on my daughter's 1st birthday cake. It tasted great and wasn't too expensive to boot. We will definitely be going back here for future cakes.
A couple tips for others:
- they need at least a 1 week notice for cakes with designs
- they have a book in the store with picture
Probably one of my favorite bakeries! Not only are they great with customer service but also everything in there taste great! I made an order for cupcakes last minute and they managed to pull it off. Huge thanks to the baker. So happy with the result . I added some details on my own on the cupcakes
Pastries are good but expensive. The pistachio cupcakes are $5 a piece, and they taste like pistachios but too sweet. The brambles were okay, not nearly as good as the former Hanlon's bakery that used to operate in this site. I'm a little disappointed.
This is my favorite bakery, whether it's for a cup of coffee or their homemade apple pie for the holidays.
