Great pub!
Great location along the freedom trail and near many of the attractions Boston had to offer.
Food: was very good, and a good selection of beverages
Service: friendly and attentive (it can get busy, so you may need patience at times)
Atmosphere: great authentic pub atmosphere
Highly recommend
Great place, very friendly staff.
Had the Sam Adams beer and was excellent.
Good food as well.
Came in starving after a long morning of travel. Fantastic food and excellent service—left full and happy. Gotta give the Beantown Burger and tater kegs a try. Burger was one of the best I’ve had in ages, and the kegs were a delightful crispy, warm hug. 10000/10.
I am an unabashed tourist. If you are the same, then this has got to be on your list of pubs if you visit them. Samuel Adams Boston Red Brick ale is unique to this area. Staff was friendly and accommodating to our group. A great stop along the Freedom Trail!
linh wanted to go here to watch a soccer game so we went and they didn’t have the channel for premier league 😭😭 but we were all too shy to leave so we ordered guac and chips and played pool. Pool costs 2$ for each round (capitalism in its working) and we played 10 rounds it was fun 🤪🤪
On a cold, rainy night, this place was a godsend. I was happy to find the kitchen open late. Their baked beans with brown bread had been on my radar to try for a while, and they were really good. The lobster grilled cheese (with Swiss on rye) hit the spot, too. My server, Emily, was super nice, and the beer was cold. What more can you ask for?
I liked the atmosphere and the abundance of visible TVs as well.
I was visiting Boston for the first time and found this location close to my hotel. Great fish and fries and a nice Pub atmosphere.
Great night out! The atmosphere is fun and busy. Huge place. Didn’t know how they would wait on us or keep track of all the patrons since you seat yourself but it worked out great. Food was delicious!! And Hot!
Best chicken tenders ever! whoever makes them please give them a raise. This was better than chick fil a and raising caines!
As a visitor from LA, I came here for one thing only, the Samuel Adams Boston Brick Red beer. I'm not much of a beer person, but as my second visit to Boston, I just had to have this. Bonus points for Samuel resting just across the street!
We went to the Beantown Pub for a quick bite to eat and a drink. The atmosphere was super fun and there were a lot of college kids in costumes, so it made for great people watching.
Great food/ Great atmosphere/ Great service! Everyone was having fun and enjoying the weather.
Don’t pass on the nachos they are so yummy!! Or the margaritas!

Beantown pub is ALWAYS a memorable experience! All the food, from breakfast through dinner is delicious (especially the wings, fish tacos, and fried pickles), and their specialty cocktails are so good (especially their apple cider mimosa!). Highly recommend a stop here at any hour!
Great little pub centrally located. The steak cheese fries were good. Loved the brown gravy. Haddock bites were also good. Beer selection is solid. Lots of cocktail options. Service was excellent.
Pretty cliché stop, but we had to "Drink a cold Sam Adams, while looking at a cold Sam Adams." Lol. The history and novelty mak for a great experience.
The quintessential Boston dive bar. But a fun mix of tourists & locals. Good food & drink can be had here while taking a break from tours & sightseeing.
Fun tourist bar! Nicely located across the street from the Granery graveyard. Simple beer selection and good bar food. The bathrooms were a little gross. But that’s to be expected in a very busy tourist area. The bar staff was very nice and the atmosphere is fun. Lots of things to look at. This would also be a great place to watch a sports game.
Great location! We initially went as they hyped one of the best Bloody Mary's in Boston. It one of the worst I've had. Hummus was ok. A little off flavor. We returned the next day as the proximity to our hotel was close. They had some of the BEST wings I've had. The hot sauce had a fantastic flavor, which is why I gave 4 stars for food. The bartenders, however, were consistently some of the least friendly bartenders in Boston. Not sure why they can't smile. We will only return if we stay at the same hotel. I wouldn't go out of the way otherwise.
We were here with a large group. Emily took care of us and she was AMAZING! She did such a good job and I was very impressed. Absolutely will come back next time I’m in Boston!
