Quite the Manchester United atmosphere. The fans here know their songs. Came for the United Liverpool game. Was good fare, although getting a seat would be difficult.
Excellent service, beautiful and cozy place, delicious food and reasonable prices
Went to watch the world cup final here, great place for groups to eat, drink and hangout. Loved the wings
Amazing food and atmosphere. I had the Irish Stew and a pint. Fantastic!
We recently played a small show here. Beer and food was good. But honestly you can't beat the service. All the employees were so helpful. One guy was giving us tips on parking to make sure we don't get tickets. Another guy ran around to find a tool when one of our instruments needed attentions.
Good people. Definitely come check this place out.
Stopped before a Bruins game. Fish and chips were very good. Plenty of beers on menu. In and out for dinner in 40 min. Servers knew to move fast to accommodate game time which was appreciated.
Went there for the McGregor vs Cowboy fight (you may see others comment about that night, but here's an honest review)
Food is solid: spring rolls were top notch, waffle fries were on point. Nachos could have used a few more chips, but they were loaded as hell.
Drinks are pretty good too- standard pricing and the waitresses are good. It's a pretty cozy bar. Great place if you're out with the crew and wanna hang out.
But to provide some context on the UFC fight: the cable went out right before the main fight and the bar went into a tizzy cuz the cover was $20 for the pay per view cost. Customers were demanding a refund, but it wasn't granted. So if you hear anyone mentioning the fight, that's what happened. Sure the managers could have handled it a bit better, but cut them some slack: it's a good pub.
Love the cider they have on draft and good choice of beers. The food is decent pub food and I enjoy the live music on weekends. There is also a fireplace in one of the smaller dining rooms if you want to be away from the bar area. In the nice weather they have a patio across from the foxboro fire station.
Can be crowded
I've found this place to be about 50%-50% for getting a table 90 minutes before a Bruins game, which is better odds than I have found at other bars in the area. Also, decent brews on tap, and I love their Irish Curry sauce.
Steak and cheese and fries best lunch. Great kitchen connoisseurs bartender personality is excellent. A real down-home place for the Irish wouldn't go anywhere else off Causeway Street. Five-minute walk from the courthouse two-minute walk from the garden could not ask for a better spot or better atmosphere. Let alone there are so many TVs there's no way for you to miss anything when it comes to sports. Soccer baseball football hockey it's all there.
