Merengue Restaurant - Boston - Photo album

Merengues as a food destination has been on my list for quite some time now, and I'm pleased to say I was not disappointed in the slightest 😊. Once you walk in, you feel right at home with the neighborhood energy and charm. Decorum is creative; I'm pretty sure there's a moped hanging from the ceilin
I haven't been in many years and they never disappoint. Brought my husband for the first time and he got the stewed chicken and Spanish rice mixed with beans and it was amazing. The service is always good and the ambiance welcoming. Can't wait to comeback.
Food is always on point. So delicious. However, I think my daughter and I got food poisoning after eating here. My daughter told me she vomited when she got home. I didn't notice anything until the next day. I tried to eat breakfast and threw it up. My stomach hasn't felt right for days. May n
Parking can be tricky but not super bad, I would recommend use street parking. Food was good temperature and the taste was also good. The service was fast and good. Only aspect that wasn't as a good thing as everything else was the bathroom, it needed some attention for example the lock was kinda me
I indulged in their breakfast offering, which is remarkably hearty—essentially a dinner masquerading as a morning meal. The menu featured an enticing blend of mashed plantain, salami, and fried white cheese, all beautifully accented by sautéed red onions. Both the price and value are unparalleled, m
Second time here love the remodeling. The food was awesome and we didn't have to wait long. The only thing was the coffee machine was broken😪. Overall I will definitely recommend anyone to go there🥰🙏👏
Ambience here is really nice. The place has beautiful art work and scenery the music is great and the service as well. Love walking into a place that feels like home in terms of culture. The food is seasoned really well and everything seems very authentic.
Best Dominican food in Boston! My Dominican mother in law was skeptical at first, but when she tried it was blown away by how much it tasted like her mom’s from when she was alive. I highly recommend the salami y queso to start and steak for main course (all options are amazing)! Don’t forget the g
Only problem too much food! It was hot quick and my entire Dominican family loved it. They played bachata the entire time but it's called merengue😂
Filetillo: 8/10 , a little salty Sweet Plantains: 10/10 Coconut Sauce: 9/10 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I have been here three times and the food is amazing! This time I took my parents with me. They ordered their usual plates. I wanted to try the lobster rice. I was wowed! Usually when have seafood dishes the plate comes out salt forward. However my rice came out perfect. Delicious and full of flavor
The restaurant is clean and the food is delicious. The drinks are great and strong!
Overall experience and food was good. Nice vibes in the restaurant while i was picking up our takeout order. I did have to wait 15 min after my pick up time for the food to be ready. Maduros and tostones are great, but I wish the tostones came with a sauce. Definitely order one on the side. The chic
Great food and service every time with very reasonable prices. Expect a bit of a wait but worth it
