I really enjoy eating here--the food is great and the staff are lovely and fast. Such a great addition to the Boston Public Library!
Beautiful cafe to have a snack and coffee and watch a live feed from the WGBH studio at Boston Public Library before i go to the microfilm room to get some articles and beautiful setting and Jim Braude, Emily Rooney, Linda Polach and Margery Eagan and the Newsfeed Cafe and WGBH rocks
So good the blood orange tea is so good with honey and two sugars plus a bagle under 6 bucks so good

Wasn't expecting this cute new place to actually be good...but it's great, and you can't beat the location!

Wow, pretty cool concept. I walked into a radio show broadcast, got a great snack. All the food looked great. Really kinda futuristic in its setting, cozy and sterling. Never woulda thought that about that part of the BPL 5 years ago. If public broadcasting is gonna be privitized, we might as well prop up WGBH with a bunch of these cafes!
Excellent! It's neat to be next to the public radio studio. There's always nice classical music playing, too. Food was good and there is a student discount.
A wonderful addition to our very popular and engaging Central library! Whether it's to sit by yourself and relax, watch the world around you, or be an audience to a WGBH program, this is a most welcoming and 'cozy' spot!

Good priced coffee & food! I wasn’t expecting their food to be great, but they had one of the best blueberry muffins I’ve had in a while. Coffee was good as well!

Today is my first day in Boston Public Library and it appeared to be it is Newsfeed Cafe’s 1st day of reopening after covid…
Food here pricy but it worth to have here your lunch, especially if there is life show is going on
P.S. they will re-launch their live shows from next week. Shows will run Tuesday and Wednesday 11am-3pm
At the Newsfeed Cafe, the Boston Public library's in-house eatery, I had the avocado toast and lavender lemonade, yum! As expected the staff was pleasant and sociable. There is also a live radio show broadcasted here early in the morning.
Great environment and location (On the 1st floor of Boston Public Library). Free milk was always “little”. Hamburger and coffee was soso. Homemade cake was great.

A Boston experience in the Central Library: live broadcast of current affairs discussions; people respectful and attentive and a nice bite to eat too. If you're looking for a chatty lunch this is not the place to go, but for a bit of focus (and a break from conversing) this is somewhere to head.
Delicious Quiche, home made yodels and coffee cake for dessert! Nice and clean. Staff very nice. The one criticism I had was that we hade to buy 16oz drinks and we didn't finish them while eating. We couldn't bring them back to the library so we had to throw them out. They should sell smaller drink bottles. Overall, great!
The best (huge as well) pistachio muffins in town. Great coffee too (I got a medium-sized one, stronger and less sugary than Starbucks). I paid around $7.50. Great atmosphere and space: comfy sofas, normal-height tables for two and four, as well as tall tables and stools. And the two people behind the counter…super, I mean extra, nice and helpful. One more reason to come and study at the BPL.

The prices are too high to really get anything to eat in my opinion. I had a hot Cocoa and a Swiss roll. Cost me 5 bucks but it was worth it. I enjoyed the topic on housing issues in the Latino's/Spanish/Hispanic Community. I enjoyed seeing Jorge Quiroga in person speaking and interviewing on live TV people from the community About the hardships of the Latino/Spanish/Hispanic Individuals and families having a hard time buying a house in Massachusetts. They came up with some interesting ideas on how to solve the problem for everybody in Massachusetts not just their community. I recommend you stop by the Copley library unexpectedly to see what you find out interesting that's happening at the Newsfeed cafe.
Very interesting place, with LIVE newsfeed thought out the cafe and performances from WGBH. This is the Boston library too. Loved the vibe!! More than the food it's the vibe.
Everything was delicious from the coffee to the quiche to the sandwich. A special note about the decaf. I got an Americano, and it was perfect. Often decaf is made with too much water as if you weren't there for the coffee flavor. Not here. Well done. ☺️
