Mala - Boston - Photo album

I first went to Mala around 4 years ago and I remember thinking it was good but too oily (classic dry pot). I went again more recently and tried some more of their offerings. I didn't love everything I tried -- I think the seasoning could have been more on-point for some of the dishes, and the dry p
Every single thing we had was sooo good. Old noodles was very fragrant and flavorful. Mala is just amazing. Dumping wrapper were just 10/10 and meat skewers were just perfectly cooked. 10/10. Service is extremely fast. There is gonna be a long wait time so make sure you check in and join the waitlis
This place has some of the best food in all of Boston. Ordered the Mala Pot with Pork, beef, and fish tofu and more. Delicious Sichuan food with great prices and large portions. It can be oily and salty but that’s what makes it great.
Amazing traditional Chinese food! The flavors are spectacular and truly unique. Each dish has a special taste and the prices are fair and adorable especially for Boston! Two of us ate for $23 (before tip)!
Fish fillet with spicy pepper corn is always good. Dry hot pot is nice too,!
Mala is the reason why I love sichuan cuisine! Their dry pot is honestly wonderful & is the one thing that you have to get no matter what!! On top of that their Dan Dan noodles aren’t bad at all & fried chicken is a great combo of sweet & spicy!
My fav place in the whole world. Best mala dry pot place in Boston. I always come here w friends and share a large dry hot pot. The portions and price is the best in the city and it’s delicious. Highly recommend. You order w QR code at your table.
Delicious traditional Chinese food. Amazing flavor, lots of spice. Warning- portions are very large. Loved eating here, would eat here again.
Reasonable pricing and good food👍we ordered a whole fish, large spicy dry pot, tofu&shittake, dan dan noodles, fried rice, and cold noodles as an appetizer. Enjoyed all of it, the dry pot feels especially worth 👍wait wasn't long either despite the number of dishes we ordered.
[5/5, Allston, MA] Look at the size of that bowl - it’s ridiculous. $40 for that bowl. For the first time in my life, I wished a mala spicy pot had more vegetables. The lamb skewers and squid skewers were amazing - must order! The szechuan chicken was spicy and crispy. I’m coming back for sure.
