It's a real pleasure stopping by the shop at the public market. For vegan folks with dietary restrictions, it's rather tricky sometimes scoring tasty treats in Boston. Really fond of the Buffalo Jack Panini.

I was in Boston for the weekend and visited your shop at the Public Market every morning. Everything was so tasty and fresh. I just wish I had bought more then 1 chocolate chip cookie for the road.

My son had his first donut EVER! Managing multiple severe food allergies can be a nightmare so I’m very thankful for Jennifer and her delicious baking! Definitely worth the trip to Boston Public Market!

My 11 yo daughter was diagnosed at 1 with ANA allergies to eggs, dairy, nuts, peanuts, shell fish, fin fish, sesame, and sunflower. To me, what you've done here is such a gift to moms like me... your food allows my daughter to feel "normal". To be able to eat outside of the home is extremely rare. "Thank you" will never be enough. The banana bread is her favorite. Xoxo

Found her at Vegfest. Amazing food!!! I hope she gets up a location in NH, we don't have anything Vegan up here.

Finally made it in from Nashua NH!! My 7 year old is allergic to all dairy and eggs discovered at just 4months old. He was so very happy to order a chocolate chip cookie and a banana bread to take home. Definitely a first for him!!!

I was incredibly happy to work with Jennifer on an employee's going away party. This employee had food allergies, and other companies that offered gluten or dairy-free options made those desserts on the same equipment as non-allergen safe foods. By ordering from Jennifer I felt assured that our going away party would be delicious and accessible to everyone!

I'm so thrilled you exist! Just had an amazing cookie from you today. It's so hard to find good treats when you have a dairy allergy. Keep up the great work!

It's such a treat for my allergic (dairy, eggs, wheat, nuts, tree nuts, sesame) daughter to be able to eat a baked good out and these are so tasty! Thank you!!!

Working with Jen has been nothing but a pleasure. We started with her over 2 years ago looking for someone to cater our wedding! She came to us for a tasting and the cupcakes were still somewhat warm! We had a huge wedding and ordered 300 cupcakes and an 8" round cake for the top and 2 chocolate fountains, well needless to say Jen blew us away with her amazing talent and skill. She has become not only a friend but someone who we know will come through when we need her too! From here on out we will be ordering from her for any of our events. Thanks Jen!!!!

I was at the Mill No. 5 Farmers Market in Lowell and purchased a cupcake for my son, red velvet cookies, and key lime covered oreos- all I can say is, holy cow! Everything was absolutely delicious. I'm so glad I happened across your table. The guy and girl at the table were also very nice and very friendly. I can't wait to try more of your treats! Thank you! <3

Jennifer Lee’s is a must visit for me anytime I’m in Boston. I have to go, and get many treats. I love all of her baked goods. I am not even vegan, but had to give these a try when I was roaming around the Boston Public Market. It was love at first bite. Anytime I have visited, the staff has always been so kind, helpful, and informative. I have also heard their interactions with other customers. With such a specialty bakery, of course people are going to have questions. And sometimes people can be difficult. The staff is so patient, helpful, and informative. Amazing customer service. This bakery is Top 9 allergen free, and vegan. You’ll see some negative reviews. Don’t listen to the haters. Things are going to taste different when some of the “standard baking ingredients” are replaced. This is coming from me, who has a huge sweet tooth, and many baked goods from many places. Jennifer Lee’s bakery tastes amazing. When you go to The North End, there are no vegan options for desserts. NeverMind gluten and allergy free options. Jennifer changed that. 100% absolutely recommend trying this bakery. Best vegan treats in Boston!

Working with Jennifer is a dream come true! This is the first time I have ever truly felt safe and joyfully supported in providing a birthday cake for my child who has allergies. Jennifer was patient, professional and genuinely invested in our satisfaction with our cake. She went above and beyond in guiding us, as there are lots of great choices. The cake was delicious and our guests, (who did not have allergies) also loved it so much, they took home extra slices. Thank you so much Jennifer!

11/10!! The service was so awesome! Gluten free friends, everything is gluten free!! Vegan too! The desserts looked so good. It was 11 am when I went so I got a breakfast sandwich. They have vegan eggs and vegan sausage. Thank you so much for the delicious sandwich. It was so good!! I think I was talking with the owner, she was so nice!! Loved chatting with her. Turns out we have family from the same place. I’ll be back next time I’m in Boston! (:

Boston is lucky to have Jennifer Lee. She works her butt off to provide people with food allergies safe options to eat. I can't fathom providing this many options that are safe from a long list of allergies. Her staff have always been cool and nice, and the brownies and cupcakes I had were amazing.

Great vegan spot! The cupcakes were amazing - rich and moist. The chickn cuban sandwich was alright, the flavors in the sauce weren't doing it for me. And the gluten free bread is homemade, tasty but has that GF texture. Definitely get the baked goods, and grab a sandwich especially if you are looking for gluten free options in the north end.

My only regret was not buying more cupcakes! I had the vanilla cupcake, the chocolate chip cookies and a savory flat bread. All were great. The cupcakes were moist, flavorful and sweet. Customer service was high quality. I’m extremely allergic to wheat/ gluten, soy and dairy and ate here with no reactions! I will be back :)

My partner and I are both vegan, but she is also gluten-free, so we were both excited to find this place during our weekend in Boston. It was in the Boston Market, though it didn’t seem to note that anywhere online, which it probably should since the produce stands outside almost hid the entrance Google Maps took us to. Anyway, the woman working the shop all by herself was incredibly pleasant and sweet. We got four cupcakes, two doughnuts, two cake bars, a banana foster dish, and a buffalo calzone to-go. It came to about $57, which was average if not cheaper than what we were used to, let alone from a place so allergen-friendly AND vegan at the same time. We didn’t try anything until we got home more than four hours later, and everything was STILL delicious. I was very surprised with how moist the cupcakes and how soft the doughnuts were—things I seldom find in gluten-free treats. The icings were unique (watermelon? French toast? Cotton candy?) and very sweet, but if you don’t like sweet things then you probably don’t like cupcakes to begin with. We haven’t finished everything yet, but we’re so pleased with this place. Thanks for being there, Jennifer Lee, and for making inclusive vegan food while donating to animal sanctuaries, as well as paying your employees a living wage (we were told $25 an hour!). Your character is demonstrated through your business.

A 3.6 average rating for this place? That makes absolutely no sense. Real person here, who really takes the time to review the places I go to. I had their Philly Cheese"steak" sandwich... One of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. And I'm from Chicago. One of those things that, when you eat it, you wonder if you could justify eating ten more.

Amazing vegan and gluten free deserts! I always stop here when in Boston. This time I got an apple cinnamon cupcake, and a strawberry strudel type pastry. Both were excellent, the texture was really on point too which can sometimes be a problem for gluten free stuff. Would recommend going when they first open for freshest things.

1000% yes!! The low reviews surprise me. The baked goods were GREAT, and the woman working the stand was so friendly. Being GF, DF, SF, NF, etc is exhausting and I feel so safe buying food from here!

My 4 year old has life threatening allergies, carries epinephrine so for him to get to walk up to a bakery window and actually look and pick something as you can see he is stoked! He has anaphylaxis reaction to egg milk peanut tree nuts like almond it's really insane but this bakery is here and look big sign so you can find it! Grateful for this bakery the brownie was hands down tastier than quote unsuited normal brownies people with out allergies will also enjoy!

Amazing bakery that is 100% dairy/gluten/egg/soy free! I’m always looking for allergen friendly bakeries - and this one takes the cake! Brandon helped us out and was so kind and explained Jennifer’s story to starting the bakery! They have a ton of options, but get there quick before they run out!

My partner and I were in Boston for the day and visited the Boston Public Market - happy to have come across Jennifer Lees Bakery, as we’re both plant based. The cupcakes and cannolis are so good - we both agree some of the best we’ve had in awhile, we also came through again on our way back through and got her vegan jackfruit Alfredo & Mac and cheese. The woman running the bakery was very sweet and we will be back around next time we’re in the area.

Got a cookies and cream cupcake and the taste was great! I did come in the afternoon though, so it was a bit stale. Happy that I was able to eat anything I wanted with my allergies though! 🥰
