Amazing Mediterranean food and the employees are so friendly and caring! Will definitely be going there again!
Med bowl with Schwarma is so amazing! I am from Iowa and when I visit my friend here in Boston, Zest is my first stop and the "gotta have" on my trip!

If you like Middle Eastern food, you better give Zest a try!
I could tell upon entering Zest, it would be a great experience. The appearance of the restaurant is clean and appealing. The staff were super friendly and bubbly, moving the line right along. I personally am a Chipotle addict, so the Chipotle assembly line dining style was a dream come true. The food is made fresh and ready to order.
While at Zest, we got one plate consisting of chicken shawarma topped with tahini sauce, delicious grape leaves, fresh tabouli and baba ganoush with a side of garlic sauce...FOR NO MORE THAN 10 DOLLARS! It was more than enough to feed my friend and I.
I am already craving Zest again and can't wait to go back!
The food is so fresh, tasty, and good for you. I go there several times a week for the Mediterranean salad with shawarma. The pita bread is fantastic too.
The food was great, the people were friendly, the restaurant was clean and there are lots of healthy options. Not fancy and prices are very reasonable. I can't wait to go back again.
I ate here with my sister and my niece. Great food, nice vibe, great value. Sweet outdoor summer deck.
So happy I found this place. Awesome!
The Eggplant and Hommus are delicious. Tabbouleh is excellent too
First time trying Shawarma. Since it was my first, the homemade lemonade was on the house! Both were delicious. Will definitely be back.
Fast and friendly service. Spicy tahini sauce not spicy at all; tasty, but not spicy. I had the chicken shawarma; it was good. I ate the whole thing. Bit bland but decent. Thank goodness it wasn't salty like other places I've been to. hey, I was looking for decent fast food from friendly people.
I've tried three different schwarma restaurants in Boston and Zest is the best. I had the beef schwarma roll up. I was impressed because all the food looks and tastes very fresh. Even more surprising are the generous portions at such a low price. The gentleman working was very polite and professional, he was happy to tell me my options when I asked. I will definitely be back to try the chicken.
Fantastic variety of Mediterranean "comfort food". Chicken Shawarma was so tasty and the hummus and tabouli were fresh and home made- the best I've had in Boston! I'm very impressed with this place and the reasonable price makes it 10/10!
Quick, healthy and affordable. Good for vegetarians. If you're walking from Fenway back downtown (which you should), you will likely pass by this spot soon after you turn back onto Boylston. While everywhere else we saw was crowded (because of St. Patrick's Day crowds), this place was a good find. The food was affordable and quite tasty. It is also much healthier than most of the rest we found. It is also a great spot for vegetarians.
Super fresh food, expertly made, in short. I had the Falafel Plate that comes with three sides. Everything was top-notch. the falafel balls seemed like they just came out of the fryer...still warm and steaming inside. Often at many places these are dry inside. These were moist with a slightly crunch outside, with a delicious flavor, made even more so by the spicy tahini sauce I picked. I had three sides out of what looks like 12 or so choices; a great selection. Everything looked great but I wanted to compare to other places so chose the tabbouleh salad and the fattoush salads, as well as the moussaka. Everything was very fresh with high-quality ingredients IMO. The tabbouleh was delicious, well-balanced and bright with the right amount of lemon juice. The fattoush was delicious and refreshing; I really enjoyed the small amount of mint in it. Finally, the moussaka is something I had not had before. It was delicious with its chick peas and stewed eggplant and tomatoes. I really appreciate a place like this in general, but especially when traveling when it seems so hard to get fresh, healthy food. This place is a gem. The food and environment is kid-friendly and I can't wait to bring my family back here. Zest, please keep on doing what you are doing!!
Affordable shawarma and falafel joint in Boston's trendy Back Bay, an increasingly pricy area. Seems to target the Berklee crowd. There are many vegetarian options and it is a great place to stop in for a bite if you're at the Hynes nearby for a convention.
Passable falafel and shwarama. The place caters to the Berklee crowd and that is evident. One a few cheap and quick eats on the strip and is better than most of the other options.
Some the of the best food I've ever tasted. Free and generous samples of anything. Great place, great people. Also everything is made in house.
I’m very glad I found this place on boylston st,Very delicious Mediterranean food it reminds me of back home, the price was very cheap for quantity and quality of the food excellent service and staff was very friendly they even welcomed me with a free falafel dipped in hummus to try tasted very good.would recommend this restaurant because I’ll definitely be back for more.
