I absolutely love this restaurant. It was my very first visit and I really enjoyed my time there. The reception was great. I had the crab cakes as a appetizer and it was the best crab cake I've ever had. The lamb chop and steak was delicious and cooked perfectly. The drinks were also very good. It was worth every bit of the price . The waiter was knowledgeable and very helpful and did his job well. I will definitely recommend and return.
Atmosphere was amazing. Beautiful restaurant, beautiful bar, beautiful presentation of high end bottles, live music. Food was impeccable. Some of the best scallops i have ever tasted! Wedge salad was perfect and plentiful. Oysters were shucked perfectly, and the banana foster dessert was to die for! Would like to see a few more items added to menu and service needs work

Excellent experience, one of the nicest seafood places we’ve been to in Boston. The atmosphere was great with a live band and a grand piano. We ordered the crab cakes and the steak tartare for appetizers and they were both solid. We had the caesar salad which was pretty good. I had the scallops and they were excellent, perfectly cooked with a nutty flavored sauce. My wife had the seabass and it was also perfect cooked and flaky. I had their smoked old fashioned which was one of the more original ones I’ve had. Finally, we had their crab fried rice. It was a little too salty but very umami and flavorful, would definitely get again. We will be coming back for sure!
Fine wine, delicious calamari, banging lamb chops, and the macaroni and cheese was the best. Thanks for a great experience! Our waiter, Dimitri, had great recommendations and provided a great experience. Definitely will be back.
Eddie V's was top notch! I was the foodie in the bunch. So while walking around the mall, I had to find a restaurant for us to have dinner. There were 4 in the area that met my standard and Eddie V's was the closest. We weren't sure if you needed reservations or not. Just so happens, you do. But - - a party hadn't shown and after 15min we were told we could have their table.
Perfect timing.... We got a table. The service was extraordinary and our waiter was an awesome young man with goals to join the Air Force. The atmosphere was filled with good energy and positive vibes. The entire restaurant was lively. Eveything we ordered was cooked to perfection with no disappointments. The pictures below speak for themselves. We also stayed for dessert. The bananas foster was a party in your mouth. The sides are big enough to share and the bread is delicious.
There were four of us and our bill was a little under $500. So... apps, drinks, mains, sides and desserts for 4 was about $125/p. I would no doubt go back.
Brendan Donovan is an outstanding manager at this location! He made us feel so very special. The food was delicious and service was out of this world. Dessert was to die for! We will def be bringing family and friends back to this location. Bravo Brendan!
What an experience. Our first visit to Boston, and Eddie V’s made the visit special and unique.
From Ashley, who cater to us like if we were visiting her own home, amazing service and coaching us through the menu to the women who sat us and offered great suggestions about places to visit, to the manager - Zara - who shared her wonderful journey and told us the story about what brought her to work at Eddie’s. The food was outstanding and even the piano player made us feel like we were in a movie set.
To all of you, thank you!
Everything about our visit was amazing! Demitri was a terrific server, so polite and he timed his visits to our table perfectly. Our meal was simply incredible. And celebrating my birthday there was just fabulous! Hope to be back soon! Thanks!
My wife and I came here for our anniversary and everyone that we encountered helped shape an amazing dining experience especially our waitress Rachelle.
We started out with the shellfish tower. The oysters tasted great. The shrimps were huge. I appreciated that the lobster was already cracked.
My wife had the Chilean Sea Bass and added scallops.
I had one of their specials which was a surf and turf with 2 4 oz medallions and lobster. The sauce it came with was exquisite.
For the sides we had the lobster mashed potatoes and truffled Mac and cheese.
Rachelle got us the Bananas Foster Butter cake and it was delicious.
For drinks we had The Hope Diamond ( a must have) and the 24 Karat.
We did do valet parking which great because it rained that day.
It was 25 cash and 26 of you pay with a card. ( pay up front)
The restaurant is beautiful and of course you can walk around and shop in the Prudential.
We will absolutely be returning to visit our new friend Rachelle.
Took my sister here for her birthday before a show and it was amazing! The entire staff was so kind! Our waitress Kaitlin was incredible and the food was fantastic. Can’t wait to come back for my husbands birthday in February!
PHENOMENAL!!! Truly one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. I came here for a work event, and I absolutely plan on coming back for date nights, because everything was perfect. Service was very attentive, the decor is beautiful, and they also have a live singer in the bar area. I wasn’t sitting in that area, but he had a lovely singing voice when I walked by. :)
We came to the Boston branch of Eddie V’s as my husband & I were celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary and our favourite drink is always a spicy margarita. We were blessed as Brendan Donovan (branch manager) was kind enough to introduce himself and personally made all our drinks for us and helped us with menu choices.
He was a superstar and looked after us like family. We had our 2 daughters with us who were also so impressed by Brendan’s personal service & cocktails. We love the lobster mash potatoes, filet sandwiches and steak all cooked to perfection.
It is not often that you leave a restaurant where you have been given world class service by knowing that someone has gone the extra mile to give you an amazing evening to celebrate in style.
A great restaurant with a good vibe, amazing food and world class cocktails. All coupled with impeccable service from the branch manager Brendan. A perfect choice when in Boston.
Literally the best experience at a fine dining restaurant. Went for my birthday, on a Monday. It was busy. The hostess were super friendly, they complimented me on my outfit + hair and decorated our table with confetti and a hand written card. Our waiter, FRANK was amazing! Shout out to him for providing us with great recommendations and overall service. He kept our table entertained with conversations + jokes. . We did the dine out Boston prefixed menu with an item off of the regular menu. From drinks to dessert, we were satisfied. We will be sure to come back for future occasions.
- we parked in the garage right next to the restaurant (not sure if they validate tickets)
-love the ambiance
-took cute photos outside the main entrance in the mall.
-bathrooms were clean
-Lighting was dim but cozy
-music was light/ volume was medium
-staff was super kind, thanks to the chef who brought out our calamari b/c it was “time sensitive” and had to be eaten right away lol.
My family of three had an excellent meal after resuming our annual tradition of a Holiday Pops Concert. Filets and a side of grilled asparagus for the two guys, salad with scallops for me. Delicious! Pricey place but excellent service and top quality food in Boston's Back Bay. We sat at a nice high top table in the bar area, got to watch the very efficient bartender. Server was very pleasant. Bathrooms are individual compartments.
I want to start by saying WOW. Dining here was truly an amazing experience. From the moment that we walked in to the moment we left. Had a waiter by the name of John who was attentive and very personable. The Manager Zara was equally amazing. She made sure that we were taken care of in every way. The food was absolutely delicious. I have not stopped talking about this place and I have been recommending it to everyone.
THANK YOU to all that contributed to this extraordinary experience.
The waitstaff is very welcoming. I was here to celebrate my birthday. The Chilean sea bass was cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the sauce and spinach that goes with it. The asparagus was cooked to perfection too. I don’t like my asparagus soggy. The trio jazz band was excellent. Try to ‘marry’ their music to the music you play when they are not playing. Perhaps a little Sinatra or Ella or Dizzy for the atmosphere for Eddie V’s?!
I was in Boston recently for work and our taxi driver recommended Eddie V's. We had never been and were excited to try it out. We were staying at the Marriott Copley Place, so it was incredibly easy to walk to the restaurant. The service was amazing - very friendly staff, the chef sent us a complimentary appetizer since it was our first time at an Eddie V's, our waitress made fantastic recommendations on cocktails, appetizers, main courses, and desserts, and the manager Brendan checked on us twice. The food was outstanding. My steak was cooked perfectly. I don't typically like seafood but I tried fried oysters, scallops, and lobster for the first time and it was all delicious. Thank you to Brendan and his staff for an amazing dining experience and really great food. We will be looking for Eddie V's in other cities we travel to from now on. Wishing we had one at home in Raleigh!
