Hidden behind construction scaffolding, La Befana is a gem :-) Had a tasty slice of cheese. The crust is excellent, but could use more red sauce IMO. Loving the chalk art on the walls. A great nod to artisanal pizza :-)

Finding parking here can be a bit challenging so plan accordingly! I was craving some pizza for dinner and found this place not far from where I was. First thing you notice when you walk in is how small the place is. There's literally 2 tables here (1 that can fit two people, the other larger table can probably fit 8+? I would definitely plan on carry out here since there's a slim chance you'll have a place to sit otherwise. Their menu is pretty expansive. Do yourself a favor and admire the chalk menu but stick to the print outs since it'll all be in one location and easier to read (you'll be there all day otherwise). I ordered a medium meatball and margherita pizza that actually comes with a side of garlic bread knots and a size of marinara sauce. The pizza is a Neapolitan style pizza (made with San Marzano tomatoes grown specifically in a region of Italy) and has a thin crunchy crust. The pizza itself was delicious (especially with the fresh basil) and the garlic knots were also surprisingly buttery and tasty with the marinara sauce. They also have a ton of pizza slices available so there's bound to be something you're hankering for if you give it a good glance. The pizza is slightly pricier but the ingredients itself makes it very much worthwhile. I'll be back to try some of their other pizzas!

My favorite in the area- crazy bang for your buck. XL Pepperoni cooked well-done every time. Garlic knots will give you a new look on life. Specialty za’s are pricey but worth trying- BBQ chicken & friends very yummy.

The best pizza 🍕 in Boston hands down! I've been coming here for over 7 years, I love their pizza, salads, garlic knots and jalapeño poppers! 🍕 😍 🙌

Delicious and quick takeout! We have had the cheese, veggie, and bbq chicken and they are all so good. Everything you want with a hot fresh slice and the crust is delicious! I’ve only ordered ‘by the slice’ for takeout and we were in and out under a few minutes. Nice staff, quick, consistently great pizza, it hits all the boxes for this type of spot. There are a couple tables if you wanted to eat there, but I get the sense those are largely used by people waiting for take out/delivery. My only recommendation is that the takeout boxes for slices could be a slightly larger/more sturdy but that didn’t impact our experience.

pretty delicious pizza, love the XL size. just wish the prices were a little cheaper, but that might have been just for third party delivery which in that case is understandable :)

Hands down simply the best pizza, and sides. I've been going to this place for 7 years and every year they make improvements on shop & food. If you're in Allston this is THE PIZZA 🍕 SHOP!

This is my favorite pizza place. I live close by, so I can pickup and take it home. It is a little expensive, but it is totally worth what you pay for. The pizza crust is the best by far of all the pizza places I’ve tried in the Allston/Brighton area. My favorite is the chicken/Gouda/roasted garlic pizza, in the large size with the garlic knots (which come free!) It’s hot, fresh, and tasty every time. If this place ever closes I will be distraught.

$3.50 for one slice of cheese pizza (basically two slices - it’s a huge slice) - super fresh! The crust was the perfect consistency with the right amount of cheese and sauce. Staff are warm and welcoming.

I love this place. Quality NY style pizza, fast service, at a good price. A massive cheese pizza is $14, we usually get the pepperoni for a few bucks more. And the garlic knots are amazing. You don’t even need sauce with them, but the copious amounts of marinara they provide with them are great.

Come here for a calzone if you like huge (heavily stuffed), delicious calzones. Usually have to eat them with a fork & knife while they're hot, but they taste incredible - especially the fresh dough. Awesome customer service & quick turnaround time. The pizza is a little expensive for my taste (still really good), but the calzones are reasonably priced and are the reason I come back to this place.
