Fresh and unique dishes, much different from the stereotypical "Americanized Chinese" dishes. Great price, fast and friendly service, and yummy flavors!

We came across this place last night and had the DanDan and both types of dumpling. Most authentic and delicious Chinese. Will definitely be back and excited to try other items on the menu. Although the space is tiny (seats 12 at most) it has the feel that there is really delicious food that comes out of the kitchen!

Can't wait to get my next noodle and dumpling fix...so delicious! Loving some of the newer menu items like the Braised Beef and the Spicy Sweet Potato Noodles... and always the dumplings and Dan Dan Noodles.

Authentic, truly authentic. I love it when we get a place like this in Boulder. They're not going to let us down by watering it down, or throwing sugar on top! Do yourselves a favor, jump on your bike, pull on your Keds and get on down to Flower Pepper! Community support of family authentic family businesses like this will only lead to more. Try the steamed rice with simmered pork, spot on, made me feel like I was back in Taiwan! My wife is Taiwanese and definitely approved of the Dan Dan Mien (not sure of the English on this one), she felt the chili with Si Chuan pepper corn was down to Earth, authentic, northern Chinese in every respect.

This place was very small. Only 3 tables and 2 bar seating area. Because it's a family run business they don't have a waitress so make sure that you clean up after yourself. Ordered the soup dumplings, sour and spicy glass noodles, beef noodle soup, and the pork belly over rice. The soup dumplings were AMAZING! I loved the way they tasted and there was actually broth inside them. They were kind of small so that was sad but the flavor was great! The sour and spicy glass noodles were really sour so if you don't like super sour things, I don't suggest getting it. Otherwise it was good as well. The beef noodle soup was great with extra soy sauce to give it more pow! Lol the pork belly wasn't salty enough so I added soy sauce to give it even more flavor and salt. It was great! Even though all the food was good, I'm only giving it a 4/5 because of the cleanliness of the place is really lacking.

We stopped by for a quick dinner after Eldora and this place was the perfect spot! It’s great for a quick dinner. We had the leek dumplings, mapo tofu, and pork noodles. Everything was delicious!

I absolutely love this place. I go here once a week at the minimum! The place is small and quaint with incredible, authentic Chinese food at reasonable prices. My two favorite dishes are the DanDan Noodles and the Braised Beef Noodles. I also love their Soup Dumplings!
