My family and I really like this place. My mom is usually quite picky with Chinese restaurants but thinks the beef brisket and potato is extremely good. Another favorite of ours is the mouthwatering chicken!
One of the best restaurants in Boulder, and a great place for authentic dishes. They were so able to make some dishes vegan, including the mapo tofu!
Twice I've eaten there and as the food was prepared to a reasonably acceptable level and time limit, the rice was under cooked. Great selection on the menu and overall I enjoyed my experience at Five Spice. I would eat there again.
The best Chinese food in Denver/Boulder area. They have awesome service as well. It was a very satisfying experience overall. I Highly recommend this Chinese restaurant.
Note that this is a CHINESE restaurant, so don't get the American or Thai dishes.
That being said, the food was quite good but slightly underwhelming. Portion size was small-ish for the price, and the dishes were a but more mellow-flavored than I would prefer. Not among the best Chinese I've had, but a solid 4 stars nonetheless.
