Best smoked brisket in Kankakee County Illinois! The loaded baked potato is a meal in itself. Meat, Butter, Sour Cream, Cheese...what else could you ask for!?! Daily Specials & they offer sides of their sauces, pico de gallo, pickles, jalapenos & onions!!
Don’t be put off by the look of the exterior. The atmosphere inside is fun, relaxed and feels like a good BBQ hangout. The service was great as usual. I ordered the brisket plate and really enjoyed the baked beans and potato salad, but I was a bit disappointed in the brisket. Typically their meat is amazing , but this time the brisket was cold and dryer out. Again, this isn’t typical, but it’s forcing me to only give this visit 4 stars.
Best BBQ in the area. Pulled pork and brisket are delicious. The sweet and spicy BBQs are fantastic. Love the loaded potato, such a good meal in itself. Great portions for the prices. Staff was friendly and helpful.
We had Jimmy Jo’s grill burgers and hot dogs for our daughter’s wedding rehearsal dinner. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. I will be considering them for future events and highly recommend them if you need to feed a crowd. We served over 65 people and had plenty of food including baked beans and coleslaw. They even provided the plates and utensils.
This was my third time at Jimmy Jo's BBQ and they have yet to disappoint. Solid que, rustic Western ambience, help yourself to the pickles, peppers, and onions, etc., and free refills on the Pepsi products. Next time I'm in the area I will be back.
Seems like all the negative reviews on here are all Biden and far left fans. This place is amazing and the best bbq you can find in Kankakee County and even further out. The brisket is 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥
