I love this place they have the best soups n town! My son Gage loves the frosted cookies and the donuts melt in your mouth. My oldest Clayton likes the fresh made sandwiches! Nothing better than a good bakery with great customer service!!!!
I have been in to Stimmel's 100's of times. Everything I have bought has been the best of the best. No wonder they have been voted the Best in Wood County. All the girls that work here are top notch. Devin & Nikki seem to go above and beyond. No matter what I ask they do so with a smile on their face. Couldn't ask for a better group of people to provide the best baked goods in the area. Thanks Stimmel's for being the bright spot in my days I am able to make it in. :)

Best donuts ever. I have traveled a bit and never have I had donuts as good as the ones here. If you are lucky enough to get the holes fresh in the morning, they are like little sugar clouds that melt in your mouth.

The donuts and cookies are to die for :) We also rec'd the pecan pie via fed-ex and it was moist and delicious.
Our favorite bakery that we have ever been to, we even had it shipped to us when we lived in Texas!
The pecan pie we got for our Thanksgiving Dinner was literally the BEST we have ever had! So delicious!

I've loved this place since I was little. It's my favorite place to buy donuts in BG. The smell when you walk in is enough to make your mouth water. Taking the first bite into a freshly baked donut is sure to get you hooked.

Careful: you will become addicted.. I stopped in to Stimmel's on a whim several months ago, after I'd run out early one Saturday morning to grab coffee and was looking for something breakfasty to bring home to my honey. I remembered hearing that they had great doughnuts, so I stopped in on my way home (this was fairly early for a Saturday, around 8:30-9) and was delighted to see they had a fairly large selection. Even better: the smell of freshly baked breads, pastries, and other confections assaults you once you enter the store, and if you delay in making your decision you get to revel in the scent of buttery croissants, sweet doughnuts and the strong smell of coffee brewing. So far, my wife and I have sampled pumpkin, blueberry, chocolate and custard doughnuts, glazed doughnut holes, and cream cheese danishes, and all were wonderful. By far our favorite, though, are their croissants - impossibly light, richly buttery and flaky, and quite possibly the best croissants either of us have ever had. We try to stop in once a month to support our croissant fix, and if you're looking for a morning treat for a *very* reasonable price, I definitely recommend Stimmel's - grab some doughnuts or danishes, but do *NOT* leave without one of their croissants!
Voted "Best bakery in Wood County" 8 years running. The atmosphere needs some work, but the food is outstanding. Boars Head gourmet subs, fresh baked breads, pies, cookies, muffins, and DOUGHNUTS. So many doughnuts! Try the whole wheat caked glazed. You won't be dissapointed!

This place if you have a sweet tooth be there early. Donuts are big and are full of cream. Several flavors from, raspberry, double chocolate, vanilla, white, Bavarian cream n other fillings. They are soft and moist and big. Their pies, and cookies. Oh my 1 cookie is enough for 2 or 3 people. Large and thick. They have all flavors. I had the oatmeal raisin. I think it's equivalent to 3 or 4 cookies. The baked goods have icing but it's not over powering on sweetness just right. Gotta go back. I love this place. Been looking for a "cream stick" for like 2 weeks. The "normal" places don't seem to be carrying them. I was fooled twice by a non filled and a custard filled (eww). But this place had plenty! I may have gone overboard and ordered a dozen. I'm sure I'll eat them, eventually. They weren't quite as sickeningly sweet as other places either and I thought that was a nice bonus!
Huge Cinnamon Roll, I can palm a basketball so I have decent size hands. It was really good, but the Apple Fritter was amazing! Perfect amount of cinnamon with plenty of Apples!! A Must!
We were recommended to the Sweet Stop by our Airbnb host. They did not disappoint! So many options to chose from. The apple fritter was my husband's favorite. The blueberry cake donuts was delicious! The staff is super friendly and person we worked with was the best. Highly recommended.

All I have to say is old fashioned donuts, yes please!!! Yum yum and yum, can't even list all the goodies I love here. Plain cake donuts, bacon donuts, peanut butter cookies are a few that keep me coming back! And the staff are always so friendly and helpful
