Such an amazing restaurant, location and staff!!! The indoor area is perfect for setting a romantic mood for a more intimate experience, the outside patio and bar offers a cool spot to meet up for drinks, appetizers or a dinner while watching the sunset over the water, there’s even a round fire pit dining area that’s fun for all! The ballroom is a gorgeous spot for all types of parties, get togethers or weddings!!! The food is delicious, there chefs know how to tantalize and satisfy the taste buds!!! The staff is always smiling, welcoming and quick to service your every desire!! Be sure to make this a place to go if you haven’t already, it’s on the top of my favorites list!!! Thanks Pier 22, you guys ROCK!!!
We’ve always had a great experience here. The views are beautiful of the river and sunset and food is amazing. We’ve never had a poor experience here and go back regularly. We had Desiree as a waitress and she’s phonomenal. She suggested different menu items that I wouldn’t normally have thought of and it was amazing. Desiree should get a raise! Best waitress ever!
What an amazing place! Was here with my boyfriend celebrating his mom’s birthday yesterday . The menu had so many good choices that I had a hard time narrowing it down. I had a pesto crab dish with pasta which was AMAZING. My boyfriend had grouper and I sampled it. It was equally AMAZING. We had a very polite and classy server who was attentive. I would love to come back with my guy and eat here again. We are from the Orlando area and it would be so worth the trip. It would be nicer if we had a Pier 22 near us. The food was one of the best I ever had.
Food was delicious! But our server Desiree was even better! Nicest server I’ve ever had and she was even helpful enough to get information about some areas nearby for my friend and I to see as we were visiting. She said she was only here a couple months but seemed as if she’s been there forever, gave fantastic service!
My favourite place to eat, we come every year and it never disappoints! Service is great and the food amazing... hands down the best peanut butter pie EVER!!
This restaurant has the best atmosphere and staff..and the food is great..must do when in the area!!!!

Pier 22 is an outstanding place which offers a feast to the eyes, given its location, and the magnificent sunsets you can see up close. Top notch hosts welcome you with a contagious smile from the moment you walk in, to when you exit the restaurant. Being this my 2nd time in Pier 22, I was not disappointed when it came to its food. A friend order the Sushi Boat platter, not sure what it's called, but as soon as it was placed on the table, I felt like a Samurai, without the sword of course. Everything I ordered was exquisite! Definitively will return to this magical pool lace ;-)
We sat outside and even at 91 degrees there was a beautiful breeze. Our lunch was excellent and the bloody marys top notch, too. Hubby had the cranberry almond salad - so good and I had their Pier 22 burger (with fried egg and avocado). Hubby also had their baked onion soup... so good. Prices were good as well. Easy parking.
Had a wonderful dinner with excellent service by Joe!! The river view is beautiful too! It’s one of our favorite places for an outstanding dinner!
My daughter and husband planned my 50th birthday party in their beautiful Ballroom. The catering was amazing along with the service from the staff. I highly recommend this venue!
My gf and I are from out of town and decided we wanted an early dinner by the water and decided Pierr 22. We can in from the patio side and got sat right away around 4pm. My gf and I decided to split the Walleye and got two soups to start, the clam chowder and Baked onion soup. The soups were great!! Highly recommend the baked onion soup. The Walleye was great as well, not greasy and great flavor. Great place for a nice dinner by the water.
I wouldn’t sit outside in the summer, but the restaurant itself was great. The food was fantastic, it came out fast, and the service was good all around. Parking is also a little on the tough side, but I did get my spot fast so can’t complain there. Even though it was hot, the view on the patio was great.
Met up with bestie for lunch. Had Spinach Salad and grilled salmon. The fish was fresh and cooked perfectly-recommend!! Devon took excellent care of us. Friendly hostess sat us at a lovely table. Great job to the team👏
Great view. Very Good service. Good food. We stopped in for lunch after picking our son up from IMG camp and sat on the patio overlooking the water. I had the clam chowder and grouper sandwich and my kids had breakfast/brunch. The food was good but the view is what makes the stop worthwhile.
I ordered the crab cake dinner, which came with risotto and steamed broccoli and carrots. The crab cakes were delicious, seasoned well, and the remoulad sauce added a zip to a light crab cake. The risotto was cooked very well, creamy, and al dente with a little roasted sweet corn. The veggies were steamed nicely but needed salt or something light and buttery.
The French onion soup was cheesy, a rich broth, and cubes of bread, which is helpful when eating with a soup spoon. I've had the same soup in other places where the bread is too crusty and whole.
The pineapple jalapeño margarita was sweet, a little spicy, and beautifully made.
I will go back again when in town!
Great food, great happy hour bites! We've celebrated holidays and events here or popped in for an afternoon cocktail and snack. Recently attended a wine tasting that was a nice treat. They paired wines from the CA region from small vineyards. The pairing is a very small treat but a perfect match. The girls that led the event did an incredible job, and the presentation was interesting. We went down stairs to the bar and had several delicious sushi rolls. They even gave us a10% coupon to use for dinner (which we forgot to use, lol)
Had Great time good food, drinks were good.

Great food and a great view. Celebrated our daughter's 4th birthday here and the waitress went out of her way to make it special. We'll be back here on our next trip.
High five to our awesome server Chris P! We arrived at 5:45 just in time for the 3-6pm happy hour where amazing dishes are half off! We tried to braised short ribs, veggie spring rolls and the mussels bleu. All were delish! The sushi for dinner was just average but the grouper and crab over corn risotto was top notch! We finished the meal with a key lime pie. Yum! All in all a great meal with an incredible view of the river. Definitely will be back.

Beautiful location ambiance at Pier 22. Been here on a couple of occasions and love their food. We were brave and said outside on the deck and were rewarded with a gorgeous sunset. Everyone at the table love their dinner and was delighted at the Monte Crisco appetizer that really hit the spot. My girlfriend loved the macadamia and nut crusted shrimp, my husband got the Alfredo seafood dish and thought it was tasty.
Excellent atmosphere and vibe. Loved sitting outside. Several Excellent bars with a great selection of adult beverages including my favorite Mt. Gay rum. The grouper was fresh and delicious. I had mine with piccata sauce. 🍣 Sushi was awesome.
The view is incredible. Food was really great and there is a very friendly environment. The drinks were ok. The old fashion was descent but the sangria was very boring. Clam chowder, macadamia nut shrimp and wasabi tuna was tasty.
Celebrated my wife’s birthday with your awesome establishment. Overall your staff, food, and environment were everything we could’ve asked for. I wish we could have taken pictures of our dishes, but the picture of the peanut butter pie will do. I had the crab pesto pasta dish and my wife had the ribeye dinner. Both dishes were amazing! Thank you for the memories!

Enjoyed a late lunch on a Friday afternoon. It was very busy. We sat on the patio overlooking the marina which was very nice. The hostess was very friendly. Food and service were good. The mussels appetizer was very tasty and the mussels were very good in size. I had the grilled chicken Cobb salad and my aunt ordered the friend alligator sandwich. Prices are reasonable.

We've returned several times since our first meal at Pier 22. This past visit was as good as previously: Beautiful location - nice drive to the end of the pier through interesting architecture. As parking is often at something of a premium, it's great to have valet service. Warm welcome at hostess desk, and we were seated at our outdoor table right away. Yes, it was hot (this is Florida!), but as the sun descended, so did the temps. Our server was very efficient - and our meals were delicious. When our usual (favorite) wine was unavailable, the wine steward made a couple of spot-on suggestions, and we took a photo of the bottle for future reference. Pier 22 is now one of our top 3 Sarasota-area restaurants!
1st review: We had heard multiple times from friends and neighbors how WONDERFUL Pier 22 was - but finally went for the first time when our son surprised us with a short visit! We requested seating outside, and were able to get an early reservation - AMAZING view of the Manatee River with boats and life galore. Beginning with making our reservations on Open Table to our walking out the door afterwards to enjoy walking the Marina. This is not a “budget” restaurant, but is absolutely one of our top three in the Bradenton-Sarasota-Venice area! The wine list was extensive and had what we wanted. Alicia gave us honest and spot-on recommendations, resulting in our choosing 3 different entrees (Seafood Jambalaya, Wasabi Tuna, and Crab Artichoke Pasta); we shared a delightful sweet & tart Apple Cobbler dessert. Everything was just as advertised and perfectly presented. The pace of the meal was what we’d expect from a 1st class venue; we never felt rushed.
This was a very good place. We sat outside and were waited on quickly. Jeremy our server was helpful, polite and attentive. The food was reasonably priced and delicious! My husband had the Pressed Cuban and I had the Seafood Cobb. So good and filling!
