Great experience here at the Rice Bowl.
First the service was excellent! Friendly and fast. It was perfect for the experience.
The meals were great! Very delicious, hot, and huge portions.
The Mrs had the shrimp and rice, I had the Szechuan chicken and noodles. We both ended up taking a box home.
Certainly recommend you stop here. You will not be disappointed.
Friendly staff. The decor is rather plain. The fried rice was pretty good but as other reviewers mention there is no seasoning. The lack of seasoning was true to every dish. The vegetables, aside from the corn which I think is canned, were fresh! With just a little bit of salt on their food the dishes would be fantastic!
Usually I would give a restaurant like this 3 stars. I gave them 4 stars because the fried rice was really great - not oily or heavy (although it needed salt) and they use fresh veg (which should be commonplace in a restaurant but sadly isn't).
I have been coming here for over 10 years now. Family owned and operated and they are always so kind and happy to help. I get the tuna roll and crunch shrimp roll, along w the hot sour soup. They have a lot of great entree dishes too if you don’t like sushi! My favorite asian place in Bradenton/Sarasota hands down.
Coming from CA, we are not so used to seeing combined Asian dishes restaurants. We actually have not gone to one until we moved in the SRQ area, FL. We tried this place among the few and it’s actually very good. Half of the family ordered Japanese dish and half Chinese. Everyone loved there dish and the service was also great.

We had been here a couple of years ago and wasn't really impressed. But we decided to give it another try tonight, and we were glad we did!
The food was fresh, the quality was excellent, and the variety was great! The server - I think she was the manager (or owner?) - was very helpful and answered all my questions on the menu. I decided to have a Szechuan shrimp rice bowl with fried rice. She said it would be medium spicy, and I think she was about right. At first, I thought it was a little mild, but it was the kind of spicy that builds up a bit as you eat. I might order it a *little* more spicy next time. My adult son enjoyed his Sunflower sushi roll and was impressed with the house fried rice. The meats (chicken, shrimp, and steak) were large pieces grilled and laid on top of the rice. Very good flavor and not overcooked.
The only thing I can figure out about our previous experience is that it was back when restaurants were still just opening back up after the pandemic, and they weren't up to their full operation yet.
Everything we have ordered has been great, we’re repeat costumers! & The Egg rolls are amazing! Here are a couple pictures of the Volcano Roll and Rock N Roll. Beef fried rice and the Beer rice noodles.
I was honestly surprised by the amazing service here, the waiters were so helpful. Even though I was eating alone the atmosphere was enjoyable, not loud or anything. Whenever I asked a question they were there to help and I got my food at a decent speed. The sushi tasted amazing and it was some of the most creative combinations I’ve seen in a while. It was definitely worth the price I paid here and I would come back again soon.
Never disappoint! Salmon ( seared) abury style is absolutely yummy 🤤 service is great!!!

Been here a couple times now and everything we’ve had is pretty good. Have a decent size menu to pick from and always have good service. Kids love the bowl of fortune cookies 🥠
We order takeout all the time from here....and I was surprised I've never rated them. There food is always hot when it arrives and full of flavor. It is our go to for delivery. The eggrolls aren't greasy and so packed. The bourbon chicken bowl is our favorite.....so delicious. And of course....hubby is addicted to dumplings so he never places an order without them. Prices are reasonable and food never disappoints.
8/25/22 Flew in during the evening and not in the mood to cook when I wS home so we ordered some dinner from rice bowl. The sesame style chicken hit the spot. Arrived hot and full of flavor. My husband enjoyed his chicken bowl as well.
I’ve come to rice bowl for well over 5 years now. It’s a family owned restaurant that’s worth every penny you spend here. Find your favorite sushi and order it every time, the quality never changes. Make this your go-to when you’re craving Asian food. Invite friends, families, it is by far the best Asian food you can get in Bradenton. Friendly staff, yummy food and always our go-to.
our server Johnny was so nice and funny. He was so attentive, and personable. We got the Summerbreezer roll and it was the most delicious sushi we’ve ever had! It was like a warm dessert. Everything else we got was delicious to! Dynamite roll and lava roll. Thank you Johnny!
This restaurant is a gem. We had amazing service from our waitress Angel. The food was freshly made and delicious and sushi artistically plated. Big portions and Tuesday sushi and tempura roll specials. In addition the restaurant is very clean and welcoming. Sorry for sushi pics we ding in before I managed to take pictures. Enjoy
First time eating at this restaurant. I ordered the Hawaiian Rice Bowl. It was absolutely delicious! The staff was very kind, friendly and efficient.
If you're deciding whether to go, please go! You won't regret it. One of the top 3 restaurants I have visited in my 22 years on this Earth 😍😂 First of all the place looks amazing. People are extremely nice, very kind, and actually 3 or maybe even 4 people came to check on us during our visit and they were so sweet. It was my first time here and they all gave me so much advice because I am vegan and gluten free - btw they have so many option I didn't even know 🤩 (my husband chose the restaurant). So food is aghhh don't even get me started on how absolutely delicious it is. Photos are spicy tuna sushi roll + avocado sushi roll, spring rolls, teriyaki fried rice with chicken beef and shrimp, and tofu rice noodles. Not only delicious but served nicely, can't eat it without a photo first hahah. I can't wait to take my friends there! Very recommended!
Best Asian restaurant in the area! Generous portions, fresh good quality food, and the service is phenomenal! I'm not one to write reviews, but they deserve a lot of credit. The people are so kind and friendly. I highly recommend this place.
It offers Japanese and Chinese dishes. The restaurant is very modern and service is excellent. Very busy on the weekend. Guess the customers like the concept which simple dish in a bowl. The Japanese dishes are reasonably priced and portion is generous. The Chinese rice bowl is ok with fresh ingredient. Take out restaurants will have bigger portion and better deals. The noddle bowl is a let down, the Singapore mei fun is nothing like it. Not even close and it should be off the menu.
