We haven’t been to eat here in years and we have been missing out. The pizza was flavorful, rich with toppings and we enjoyed the thicker crust. On the “gooey cheese rating”, they come in at a chart topping 9.8. Our server (Stephen) was outstanding, both attentive and personable. We’ll be back!
EXCELLENT FOOD AND PREPARATION! Highly recommend! We ordered food for the first time tonight from Demetrio’s! We are new to the area and are so excited we’ve finally found an authentic pizza place! Absolutely delicious food! From the pepperoni pizza to the cheese bread all excellent. Extremely good Italian grinder sandwich and a delicious mini Greek salad. We are so pleased with our entire experience and we can’t wait to try more food from this fine establishment. Thank you so much! Cheers! 🍕
Excellent service! Pizza and salads were great. Ample parking and seating. Cute outdoor area with tables. Lasagna, Fettuccini Alfredo, and the cheese calzone were great. Didn’t like the extra charges on my bill, regardless of how small, without being told. Example- I was asked which salad I wanted with my meal. After hearing the choices I chose the Greek salad. My bill showed a $.50 charge for it. The meal comes with a salad. Tell your customers if a certain one is more. Otherwise wonderful outing.
I've always had a great meal here, and the staff is very friendly. Those are two of the reasons Demetrios has been around for 45 years and counting, and why they are voted by Bradenton Herald readers as one of the best restaurants in town year after year. The owners treat the staff well which it has been rated as one of the best restaurants to work at in the area.
Demetrio’s is a fun family restaurant with really good comfort food. I have been dining here for over 20 years. The first dish is the Full House with Meatballs, Italian sausage, pasta shells, mushroom, onions, peppers, marinara sauce topped with mozzarella cheese then baked to perfection. Yummy.
The top is a classic cheese pizza. My kids love it. The second picture is a must have!!! Toasted garlic bread with melted mozzarella cheese. Great appetizer! Ok
Demetrios' Pizza House wings (delivered by Doordash) are enjoyable.
A good friend, and foodie, Sean and I tenaciously tasted their titanic take on wings.
"To keep it simple we tried thirty-eight Kicking Buffalo and a dozen Garlic Parmesan. Hot wings you can't mess up, and we wanted to test a places metal. We're more interested in an establishment's taste pallet, and, the constituents of the over all honest experience. To more clearly decern we threw in a curve ball, the garlic parmesan. Garlic-parm is tricky in that everything matters when prepared. The recipe because balancing between too oily or buttery. Balancing juicy and undercooked. Stopping on crispy before it's concrete. In the end not forgetting top it with just enough sauce for it to not get dry and not too much as to drown it. Which they did it all pretty well. I'd definitely recommend these wings to share with a friend. Even with using Doordash, which makes the price feel just a bit steeper, it wasn't overpriced."
Love their pizza, made with plenty of toppings. Unfortunately, all Demetrios locations are not the same. I live closer to another one, but drive further for this locations delicious food.

(Literally) The best pizza in Bradenton! The staff is always friendly and awesome and there’s a great family feel to the place. On this day, we ordered three medium pizzas- which might as well have been large pizzas! They had SO MUCH CHEESE and we always order light sauce, which was a perfect amount for us. Our waiter was awesome (I don’t remember his name) but it was his birthday so the back half of the restaurant all broke out in singing happy birthday to him while he served. Again, it’s the best!

Very welcoming when you walk in, Immediately greeted. Seated with no wait even though they appeared full up. They have Italian and Greek style fair. My only gripe is that I think the red sauce used for the pasta dishes is a bit too sweet. Our Waitress was great, she always checked on us and refilled drinks without asking. Awesome Cheese Garlic bread!
We were in town for the state track meet and called to book a table for 30 and they graciously got all of us in and on time. Food was excellent! Everyone was full and happy! Our waitress Denise was amazing. She took care of the whole group of kids and adults on her own! Thank you for a great experience!
My husband and I came in to grab dinner. We were walking and it began pouring. The lady that took our order went and grabbed plastic sacks so we could protect ourselves and the pizza from the down pour. The pizza is incredible as well, I'm glad they're walking distance🤤
