Ok... so GIO'S is now named 60 East ..... I just went to try the place out as I have been there right after new owners took over. The food is now really good and the Martini Menu is Top Shelf.... I tried 4 of the NEW Martini Selections and liked every one I tried.... I give them lots of credit as buying a store with Legacy issues are very hard to overcome.... They have managed to achieve this..... This will be a regular stop for me!
We had a great experience visiting for our first time. The Martinis were made very well..The bread is amazing and the pizza. Our favorite part was talking to the bartender Sasha( hope we got your name right} It felt like being part of the family. We can't wait to come back.
The perfect place to for great food and drinks (which is a hands down WIN for me)! Their martini’s are DELICIOUS! The ambiance is great and the server was very accommodating. I always ask the server what their fave is and I was so happy with the suggestions. I was happy with all of our dish choices. Can’t wait to come back and try what else they have. Def reccomend!
We have eaten here several times. small, quaint, casual atmosphere. Always a great meal. Smaller menu but I have seen it changed at least a couple of times. It is next door to a theater so keep it mind. They do offer outdoor seating (which is nice).
Where do I begin??? Vodka sauce is to die for. Pizza are amazing. Prices are perfect. Atmosphere Is old world and romantic. And last but not least. Sasha the bartender is the absolute best! Went to Florida on vacation with my family from New York. Stopped at Gio’s The food was excellent. We ordered a variety of food the pizza was excellent and I’m from New York which not many places compare to ny pizza. The calamari was crispy the way we like it. I have to say the mushroom ravioli was the best I have ever had. We also ordered the meatballs for appetizers and I’m not a fan of meatballs out unless I make them they were so tender and tasty we loved it. Our waitress was wonderful. Very nice place definitely recommended. Will definitely go again next time we are in Florida.
Sasha is easily the best bartender in the area and makes the best martini with blue cheese olives by far. Many regular customers make it a point to visit him a few times a week . A true professional in every sense of the word. The pleasant homey atmosphere is enhanced by a friendly and knowledgeable staff.
The pizza was very good with a lot of toppings. It is very thin and I was disappointed a little that it wasn't crispier. But still very delicious. Probably not so crispy because of all the toppings. We had the meat lovers with about six kinds of meat, I think. We also added mushrooms, onions and green peppers.
This is not your typical pizza shop. Between the tasteful ambiance, soothing music, exquisite food, and succulent cocktails has you feeling at peace from the moment you walk in. I am always in search of great restaurants whenever I am in a different town and I am glad I was recommended to try Gio’s fabulous pizza. The restaurant is family owned and they are very hands on, making sure your experience is pleasant. Thank you for a blissful experience and I will surely be making my way back to Gio’s soon. Highly recommend this restaurant, it’s fabulous indeed!
Legit the BEST pizza in Bradenton!!! We just went for the first time tonight and ordered the chicken broccoli Alfredo pizza. Super flavorful and the crust has a unique buttery thin and crispy taste. Will be back SOON!!!
Love this place. The food and service is always great. We always start with the meatball lollipops and then switch between pasta and pizza. Either way it is a treat. The portions are more than fair, just as the pricing is.
We were seated quickly and it did not take long at all for us to get served draft Peroni. I had one of their pizzas and was completely satisfied. My girlfriend had a salad which she liked even though she requested it with no cheese and they missed that. We will most likely return to this restaurant.
